Hi ladies, I am new here and I see everyone is so informed so I was wondering if someone can help guide me. I am in a bind. For several reasons, I would really like to TTC in the next month or two, but I seem to always O in a full moon phase. This month and next month I am set to O in the middle or toward the end of FM, in the waning crescent phase. I have two boys, and it makes me nervous because both were conceived in full moon phase, but I realize now I was swaying heavily for boy without knowing it, just by the way I lived (slept a lot, always ate bfast, snacker, lots of protein, tons of bananas, prenatals, gained some weight right before I conceived, weight training, frequent BD, plus DH was using mucinex and we did missionary on O day and all days surrounding it!) :) haha no wonder...but I do adore my boys.

So...DH and I have been doing the LE diet for a couple weeks and taking our supplements. I am still BFing my toddler a couple times a day but I know that I am Oing because I have felt it. I always get EWCM a few days leading up to O, then get crampy, then I swear I feel the egg pop out. lol

I got a rock salt lamp and have been using it for a week or two now. I am also wearing this Ionic Health bracelet I ordered online (I hope this kind is suitable, as I wasn't sure because it is black and they say only the solid color ones emit neg ions...but black is a color!):

http://www.amazon.com/Bracelet-The-Stability-Protects-Fields-Designed-Fashionable-Feel-Technology-Designed/dp/B00510K7IE/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A29EYK8FPB2D4D. But I have had a space heater on a lot lately, and I spend several hours at my desktop computer editing every day because I am a photographer.

My questions are how long do I need to be exposed to the negative ion producing things before we TTC? Is it just at ovulation that they should be on or months ahead of time so a couple weeks doesn't matter? I have no idea. :) I know Atomic Sagebrush doesn't believe ions affect sways so I wonder what she would recommend.

Also, if I have drastically altered my diet, but just for a few weeks, and I know our pH is in a good range for TTC girl then should I go ahead and try whenever? Or wait several months until I get to New Moon phase? Or try to change my ovulation? My cycles have been long with BFing.
I also have very mild PCOS, so I am weary of being on this diet for too long.

Thank you in advance!

have you read this:

Don't worry about the ions. but hey...a nice waterfall never hurt anyone but thats about as far as it goes

Don't worry about your pH either. Scads of boys exist on this planet borne from the womb of the woman with the low pH. I'd worry more about reducing the amount of sperm that reach your egg and drying yp your CM.

GL!!

Ions are not important. Please don't waste a smidge of worry over them.

Moon phase ~may~ sway a miniscule amount but not because of ions and the phases do not affiliate to the ions as reported on Ingender. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/1421-lunaception.html

Thank you!! Yes, I saw in IG that they put so much emphasis on them and it was frustrating to me that I felt I couldn't control moon phases.
