For a friend! Is the gender obvious?23w2d techs or anyone?

My friend was on her scan but she didn't want to find out the gender without her DH so the tech put the pic in an envelope. When they opened it, they saw this pic. They are boy bits, aren't they?or will it be something else?:suprise:are you sure?please any comments. thanks very much!

Was this shot labeled as the gender shot? If so, I do believe a am seeing a scrotum and penis. But I am having trouble orienting it to leg bones or anything else. If the tech specifically said it was a gender shot, I would say boy. But it's not the best angle, in my opinion.

It is the potty shot, the tech said that. One leg is clearly visible, the other not exactly(at the top of the pic). And I think that "something" between them is a penis and/or scrotum(it looks strange?)??so you are not sure? what could it be? it is impossible that it could be a cord. I agree, strange pic. Anyone else?thanks for your replies.

Ok, thanks all. But this pic is different from those I've seen where the boy was confirmed (even my son's pic). On this pic boy parts have strange shape :suprise:

I think it's the angle the picture was taken from. I've seen many confirmed boy pics like this. The pic is just taken further back. Like imagine looking at what is past a mountain from the bottom versus looking what is past the mountain when you are standing at the top of a mountain of equal height.
