Hi ladies,

Would love to get some feedback. Been doing a loose LE diet since 1st of January, even though we have no intention of conceiving anytime soon. I thought i'd just like to get used to the idea, since changing my old diet was not an overnight thing. My main changes have been cutting out breakfast, switched to diet drinks and sweetners, much less salt, more fatfree yoghurts, cut down big time on fruits and fruit drinks, no potassium (or very little, i used to eat alot of potatoes and bananas). Here is a sample of my daily diet. What do we think?

7.30 am Tea with low fat milk and brown sugar (i need this one)
9.30 am Coffee with low fat milk and sweetner
11.30/12pm Some strawberries
1pm Lunch with cranberry juice (really trying to eat less meat and chicken in general)
4pm Tea with milk and brown sugar
8.30 Light dinner with diet sprite (but sometimes i skip it too)

I am counting calories and keeping them below 1330. I am saving the supps for when and if we decide to go for it. However in the meantime, does anyone thing i'm still eating too much? I usually have high metabolism but it feels like this starvation is not helping me lose weight as fast as i thought i would. I'm hungry alot!

Any feedback would be appreciated :)

Hi,

I think that sounds fine. You should try to aim for 1200 calories a day so that's fine.

Dont eat no potassium... it can be deadly. You need 2500-3500mg per day.

Like retrolove1 said, you need at least 1200 calories. Keep your fat and protein low (around 20g and 40-50g respectively) as well as sodium (700-1000mg) Check out some of the stickies for the basics, I found it very helpful!

You can also track everything using MyFitnessPal.
