Hello,

I have made TMPOB in 2011 an it was correct, tell me BOY and I have become my second Boy in August 2011.

Now I am pregnant again.
I do TMPOB Bood Test again and it tell me BOY :DS: (I was hoping for a girl).

In the description it is allowed the last 18 months, did not get a blood transfusion, I don't have a transfusion.
But I got a Babyboy in the last 18 month. I hope this is still the rest of the DNA of my second son????!!!

What do you mean?

Greetings

Hi there I did the tmpob in 2008 and they got it wrong for me several times before I had the correct result after I had confirmed boy on my 20week scan... The kept telling me it was a girl... I hav so little faith in this test unfortunately xx

It was very wrong for me. I did HT and I knew they put back a girl embryo. I just wanted to hear the words its a girl. The results said boy! I had a very anxious time until it was confirmed girl at 17 weeks. The test is an absolute scam. They could do no test at all and take a guess and still be right half the time.

I don't believe in those tests! I heard so many people telling me the test was wrong......I hope in your case the test is wrong!

I'm not familiar with that test at all. Sounds like there is still hope though.

This particular company has really bad reviews. So many wrong results. I would Google it. I've seen more wrong than write with tell me pink or blue. The only one of these companies that I've seen work is prenatal genetics center.

This is an old thread, but my understanding is that the original TMPOB was a urine test (unreliable) and then they came back with a more reliable blood test. So if you did this test in 2008 as an example, and it was a urine test, the new ones are improved.

That having been said, these are not done in a lab by trained technicians and thus have more room for error than lab tests are. I would personally do one of the new blood tests like Materniti 21 or Harmony instead, because the results are reliable (better than ultrasound!)

They were a blood test not urine
Even in 2007 when I did mine snd it was wrong three times not good x

Ok, sorry I was confused (happens frequently LOL) They got a different blood test, then. Something happened a couple years ago and their tests got better, I remember when it occured.

Just to be clear, I don't advocate the test because there are way better methods available, but if someone has recently taken it and obessing about whether it's accurate, it probably is. Not the same level of confidence as some methods, but not totally unreliable, that's for sure.
