I am in the middle of doing couch to 10k and hoping to sway in July? So is it just around ttc/ ov time that you don't do anything to build muscle?

No, running is fine for TTC a girl. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/1411-exercise-enigma-both-genders.html intense exercise while losing weight can actually shrink muscle and is a good pink sway tactic

Anecdotally, several of the people I know who had a girl after one or more boys started marathon training before conceiving. If I thought my body could take it, I would aim to run 5+ miles/day at least 5 days/week as part of a pink sway.

I'm a marathon runner and have done intense cardio my whole life not much weight lifting......I have 3 boys! My friend who is also an intense cardio crazy woman, has 3 boys and just got her girl! I know there are a lot of other factors, but I was training hard core for a marathon when I accidentally got pregnant with ds1. Maybe it's just my luck lol

Thanks for all your replies girls. I am going to keep it up so as really enjoying it. Hopefully it will be good for my pink sway as was not doing any running when I conceived my boys.

Good luck and have fun! I'm a runner but haven't ran in the last year, lol. I found it leaned me out TOO much, and I was a little burned out too.

But it's certainly excellent for pink sway exercise as it'll tend to catabolize muscle if anything.

Have fun and good luck with the training!
