Very Clear nub pic at 11 weeks 5 days - Guesses???

I know it's a bit early, but I'd love some help with guessing!

Thanks for your replies...I know it's hard to tell this early but the nub is so clear I figured I'd give it a shot! Would you say the spine is curved or relatively flat here?

Just for fun I'd say boy but think it too early to say.

I am far from an expert, but the spine looks moderately flat to me and I think the nub is on the rise. I would "fun guess" a boy. Mostly because of gestation.

is this going by your dates or by babies measurements from scan? Is there any difference between dates as this is a crucial point if it will rise

Thanks everyone...I was 12 weeks, but the baby measured 11 weeks 5 days. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. Was hoping for a girl!!!

i'd say girl u/s a 12 weeks are more accurate than 11 weeks (and girls in my experience do measure small) it looks similar to my nub if you fancy a look

12 weeks exactly by my dates at shot and we are pretty sure its a girl - although unco-operative i've had 2 20 week i think its a girl but its legs are shut shots.

I think at 12 weeks its around 80% accurate ish but it can still rise although its pretty much done what its doing by 12.5 to 13 weeks so those few days can make a difference and in my opinion i'd be more comfortable with saying girl at 12 weeks as it should be going up if its going.

Although nothing is certain, what you do have at the moment?

ps look out for lovemy4 if she guesses as she is rarely wrong

Thanks! That's very reassuring :) It does resemble your nub. I would have waited a few days to do the scan had I known it would make a difference! Now I have to wait until 20 weeks to know for sure. Thank you so much for your insight and I will keep my eyes peeled for lovemy4!!

The 11th week is 50/50 as most nubs start out pretty girly looking (like yours) but then if baby is a boy they angle up over the course of the 11th week and sometimes early into the 12th week.
