My first gut instinct was girl for the first few weeks but I've now convinced myself its a boy, I say

It's a defense mechanism. It's better to prepare myself now for another boy!

I think it's a boy, because I've been accidentally referring to the baby as 'he'.
I had myself convinced that DS2 was a girl, yet I kept accidentally calling him 'he' so I think I subconsciously knew he was a boy. So now that I'm doing it again I think it's another boy.
Also the pregnancy is very similar to my pregnancies with the boys so far.

I'm not doing it as defense mechanism, I really think it's a boy.

I really do feel in my heart that this is my girl, but then my head immediately says "You'll never get your girl, just get over it." When I talk about the baby, I always automatically say girl/she/her etc... without thinking.

I thought like that with ds3 I let my head play mind games with me... But he's def all boy... Fingers crossed you get your girl :)

I initially thought boy but now definitely girl. I agree it's partly a defensive thing but also, for me, it's that my experience of being pregnant and having scans has always been that they show girly bits. I can't really imagine having an anatomy scan and seeing a penis!

Partly probably also just defensive thinking. Cannot imagine the disappointment if I was preparing for a girl right now. It was bad enough with DS2. I just wonder if this defensive thinking is actually really helping. I still feel like fainting whenever I picture myself at the scan and the tech shows me boy parts.

I really hope we are all wrong and get our DG...

All the OWT are saying girl for me, but then I keep saying "he" and I can't imagine myself having a girl...so I say boy. I have been having girl dreams too, but they are other people having girls. One was a girl at work who is having a boy and wanted a girl, and in the dream she traded her boy in for a girl.

Thanks ELP! I pray this is finally my little girl i so longed for. I just got to feeling a little down lately. #1 i had some Ladies Ramzi guess my ultrasound some said girl but i heard some say boy But Dr.Ramsey Himself guessed girl.
#2. My MIL said She doesn't wanna get Her hopes up again for me having a girl like She did with #5&6.
