If I end up using baby aspirin instead of cranberry (thinking heavily about it), then how many a day can I take? The directions say that you can have up to 4-8 every 4 hours (not to exceed 48 in a day).

Also, should my DH take this instead of cranberry pills? They give him headaches, so he pretty much refuses to take it anyways.

Those directions are for people suffering from illness who are taking the aspirin in the short term as a fever/pain reliever, and not people taking them day in and day out for heart disease/swaying.

Take ONE a day. You may even need to take them less often than that if they cause bleeding.

I think they are a good option for your husband (cran gives a lot of people headaches) because they have no nutrients in them and they will help prevent heart attack anyway.
