My AF is generally 28 day cycle, but since starting supplements and boy diet I see drastic change in cycles, I dont get my AF untill 31 days and this month its even worse it has been more than 31 days and still I did NOT get AF :-( Did anyone have similar experiences before? (Am pretty sure am not pregnant)

I am really worried now..........i was planning to attempt in April and I dont know what's happening with my cycles :-( Any suggestions ladies?

Drop EPO/flaxseed and Fertile CM if you are taking it.

It's NOT your AF that is delayed, it's ovulation.

Yep happened to me. I TTC for 6 months last year and my cycle kept getting longer until it was 42 days in the end and I gave up. I went back to perfect 28 day cycles as soon as I stopped sups. Have been taking them again for 3 months and my cycles have gone to 31 days and seem to be staying here so far. And I have dropped the EPO.

Aw man! Say it ain't so!!! I reaeaeally like taking the epo/fish oil/fertile cm. It really seems to help in the cm. But I was wondering why I went from ovulating day 10 then day 12 then day 15...ugh! I am on day 13 now and seeing ewcm but cervix not really opening yet and -opk. Looks like it'll be another day 15 or more. Geez! I really hate to give up those supps :( Is there anything else we can do or try or take? Cuz you know,,,,,I'd just love to add to my regime *sigh*

I know your pain, i was Oing anywhere from CD17 - CD22, looooong cycles are the pits! But its worth it in the end, if you really want your short cycles back then you could just use preseed instead.

CD 15 is NOT late ovulation, it's normal and you should keep doing just what you're doing if it's working for ya.

Late ovulation is CD 21 (and even that's not too bad) or beyond.

Wait...does EPO delay O? Shoot, that is the LAST thing I need, I can barely pinpoint O as it is...

It's just late for me. And timing wise I was hoping to ov earlier for selfish reasons. Too late to worry about it now. Don't think I would necessarily stop taking it anyway since it's working so well. It does make it difficult to chart cm but I'm kinda thankful to have that problem lol

It doesn't always delay it right? I had a positive opk on my typical day. Is that surge not accurate or does it just delay for some people?

Cinss, did you stop it at O? or did you take it whole cycle? This is my first month on it and I stopped it 2 days before (estimated) O...GAWD what a pain.

No go with your surge...ALL the supps affect different women in different ways.

Now I know why my cycles have been longer! So glad I read this.
I already O anywhere from cd15-18, is there any issue with late O? Will it affect my sway in any way?

:agree: it doesn't always delay, just that it does for some people.

Pos OPK can be inaccurate tho.

That is not late O, that is considered normal. Late O is like CD 21 and beoynd

I'm on CD 35 and no AF yet! My cycle is usually of 28 days. I'm not even on EPO, just vitamins, folic acid and fish oil. Should I take fish oil from AF to O?

EPO really messed with my cycle so I dropped it. After that, I was back to normal. GL!

No i dont think dropping Fish Oil will make a change, maybe its an anovulatory cycle for you.

Im sorry i know how frustrating it is to have an unusual long cycle, it happened to me too :( There is nothing you can do, just wait for AF to arrive. Apparently taking some vitimin C can bring on AF and i have also head about Parsley tea bringing it on too.

That's only a week late, I wouldn't worry yet.

What vitamins?

I haven't seen much success with these methods and it's usually just better to wait it out. The risk is that you could actually be pg from a later than normal O, and so taking these things may risk baby's health.

Thanks Atomic! I'm taking Pregnacare Conception, folic acid (2000 microgm), fish oil. I dont think i will take EPO whenever I get AF.

Thanks Cinss! I was thinking I'm the only one whose AF is getting delayed. I'm on HE diet trying to get everything on track, AF is late! Doesn't help!!

This is slightly unrelated but having taken both FertileCM and EPO I would not recommend taking both.

Personally, I think either one works but not together. Fertile CM did not work for me, dried up my CM completely. EPO works for me and I got prego using it in Nov. But I know others swear by fertileCM....its an individual thing.

But yes, all the HE diet and supps definitely messes with ovulation and cycles, which is bizarre as we are increasing fertility which you would think would keep our cycles on a set pattern.

FWIW, when I know AF is due and I have some symptoms and a BFN I use the heating pad and that usually brings it on. I feel like that is the least crazy thing to do but still works.

Ah ok I can actually help now LOL!

Pregnacare conception has a super high dose of B6 and also has L-arginine, both of which have delayed ovulation and in turn AF for people. I would gradually switch to a diff. vitamin and see if it helps (don't just swap one for the other, take them alternating days for a week, then take the PC twice a week, then you're ok to drop it)

Sex with orgasm can also trigger AF to come
