Should I believe it?

I went for an elective scan last week at 14 weeks 5 days and the cord was between the baby's legs so they brought me back today at 15 weeks 5 days and that darn cord was between the legs again!! she took her time both times and really looked. Finally we got the shot below. She never saw any boy parts poking out on either day. She gave me 90% girl but said I could come back next week for a quick look if I wanted to. I had the Maternit21 done at almost 12 weeks and it came back no y detected. It is 99.4% accurate. Ok so with these to combined should I actually start believing this baby is a girl?:nails:

Can't see anything boy like but i know that position well - i had a cvs test done (like an amnio) that said girl but they can occasionally be wrong. I had two week scans done both times baby had its legs shut but they thought girl - so frustrating!

So yes i think you have a little lady but i can understand you not wanting to believe it just in case - i hope she gives you good shots at the next scan

I think you can safely say it's a girl, if you hadn't transferred a girl, I would not be so sure, but she had just as much a chance as the others. I was pretty sure with the blood test but this would confirm it. I would go back the next week anyway just to alleviate fears.

I was told every way from Sunday this was a girl and I still don't believe it :)

Here is my 14 weeks potty pic and it looks like yours , the say girl but I dont know a 100% cause the last ultrasoud was a bit confusing :drama:

I am in awe of the miracle. 5 cycles total. 3 embryos from cycle 4 "no dna detected" after biopsy, frozen, thawed, rebiopsied and implanted on day 6 with 2 xy that were stronger and better quality. I really had given that thought of having a dd or hope up completely!! I will have to go back next week to U/S because I do not think I can take being in this strange limbo for almost 4 more weeks. I so hope the universe is not being cruel to me.

I am in awe of the miracle. 5 cycles total. 3 embryos from cycle 4 "no dna detected" after biopsy, frozen, thawed, rebiopsied and implanted on day 6 with 2 xy that were stronger and better quality. I really had given that thought of having a dd or hope up completely!! I will have to go back next week to U/S because I do not think I can take being in this strange limbo for almost 4 more weeks. I so hope the universe is not being cruel to me.

Did you go back for another scan? I am on the edge of my seat (though pretty convinced!). And we see it all the time in HT, where beautiful hatching embryos don't become babies and compacting morulas become beautiful babies, there is no reason to it, if there was we would all get pregnant first time with IVF :)

I was getting pretty much to the end of my journey and we would of tried naturally for a girl if I hadn't got pregnant and if that had failed we would of gone back for the boys. I was just starting to get over the girl bit and just wanted the baby bit. Of course so glad that it worked and I persevered but I think if we had got to that stage to put the boy in, I would of been happy with a boy too.

Wow! I was so hoping this would be your girl! I always knew we girls are tougher even if we don't look it. I think your scans are very convincing. I had mine at 14wks 2 days and the tech was 100% sure. Like Glori said, I still don't believe it and probably won't believe it until I hold her in my arms.
Start believing it! God loves you :)

It's Official, It's a girl!!! Had my anatomy scan 19 weeks AND a private U/S and both confirmed girl. I am so in shock and so filled with joy!!
