Gender? NUB GUESSES? 13.1 nt scan ultrasound - could it still be a girl

My profile picture is the 13.1 NT scan ultrasound of our little peanut. Any guesses? The tech wouldn't say. She said could be a very small penis or enlarged vulva. What does that mean?? (yes, I know they both look similar around this time). Angle looks boy to me, but also looks small.

No nub. Some guessers like to find one in every pic, but it isn't always clearly seen. I would not guess on your pic. Sorry. I have no clue what they are saying girl nub with. Congrats!!!!

Your pics pretty blurry to us so I dont think any one could say with confidence if it is or isnt a nub. It could be! In which case boy. Is it a photo of a photo?? Any chance of getting it really clear??

That was a picture of a picture - I just scanned the ultrasound picture itself to our computer, not sure how much clearer it is but will upload it to see if that helps.

I agree this picture is clearer. It looks like there could be a boy blob on that nub.

Jark22 and ELP - I've got to ask, is it just the blob on top that is making you think boy? I've gotten all girl guesses on another site, and have had reasons like the angle with the spine, the obvious creases in the groin area and the shape of the skull (all for girl). Just curious.....

Although the picture is clearer, it's still not a very good 'nub' shot if there is even a nub at all. What I think is the nub- we can't see the whole thing. The blob on top is making me guess boy because I've seen a lot of straight-ish nubs with blobs on top turn out to be boys. Not an expert guess at all, however

I dont think thats the nub. I wouldnt put too much weight in the skull theory though, those guesses are always all over the map. I think you just have to wait to get a better picture. Right now it could be either!

I was 13.2 days actually. I've read after 13 weeks, week by week the nub gets smaller in a girl. There seems to be creases in the groin area as well, so does this mean girl then (to those who say there isn't much of a nub or no nub)

I don't think it means anything, other than that baby is not really showing much that folks can guess on. I don't see a nub I would guess on either. Or at least not a fully captured one, if its there. Creasing would occur in either gender on a profile shot, could be the side of a forming scrotum, the legs crease, the bum bones, etc, etc. I would only look at lines in a potty shot being something worth noting, not a profile shot. Could be a girl, but could be a boy too. The baby likes to keep you guessing, apparently!
