Girl or boy??

At 16 weeks we were given this image and told girl:

Then today at 18 weeks we were given this and told boy:

They did say there is quite a bit of cord between the legs but both times (same place but different sonographer) they've been so sure of the sex. Neither of those photos are really convincing me either way. Obviously today's shot is a far clearer potty shot than whatever the heck the 16 week image was!

Do either of these convince you?

The top picture does look girly!! But the bottom one is more convincing!! I would say your having a boy!! Boys??

Today's is an obvious boy. The top shot is very dark and you cannot see how far back the shot is taken nor what may be in front.

That's not cord in today's image though. I'm sure this was a big shock.

I have no idea what the top image is showing--yes, I see some lines, but lines mean nothing (can be fingers, toes, cord, boy or girl parts, spine, etc). The bottom one is 100% clear as day a baby boy. Congrats!

I thought the same thing about the top image when it was given to us, there's nothing in the image to give perspective as to where the lines are.

Boy or girl after losing one we're just delighted to have a healthy, active baby. I've got 4 boys already and they are just the most delightful little people, another one of those is certainly not something to be sad about!

Awww must be a bit upsetting :( I think that's my worst nightmare :(

Second image is pretty convincing. I know you must be in shock and disappointed - but as my husband says, every little being is here for a reason. This fifth little man may be the apple of your eye...or president someday! Congrats.
