12+0 USS for Mum to three girls - UPDATE!

I was 12+3 by LMP and size but definitely only 12.0 by when I ovulated. The baby was very active and eventually the fetal medicine specialist came in to finish things off. He works with DH and knows we have three daughters and asked if we wanted a gender guess. At the end he said he was going to say boy but that some shots looked very girl and on balance he wasn't completely confidant guessing so he wouldn't. The "girl" shot he showed us was with a very straight back, a long forked nub and maybe a hint of an angle, but then a few seconds later he showed us a great "boy" shot of a stacked nub.

Throughout the scan I saw both very girly and very boy nubs.

We didn't get the DVD cos I knew I'd obsess (lol) but this is the only 2D print out we were given.

UPDATE 11/4. Unsurprisingly given the nub it's a BOY! We got the trisomy results today - everything is fine - and they told us gender as well.

If I were guessing I would say boy nub too. That is what my last 2 boys looked like at around 12/13 week ultrasound.

I think boy. For my 4th boy, I got a shot much like this and also one with a completely flat nub but knew from the scan itself that it was clearly a boy. From the 2 pics you would never know its the same baby, but I guess the flat one had part of it cut off or something but it was realllllly flat but all boy! :)

If it was anyone else's nub pic I'd be confidant it was a boy. I see my ob in about two weeks and I know she'll take a quick peek for me. I also know she won't tell me what she thinks unless she's sure.

I'm pleased this is our last! Watching the scan closely, looking for the nub was much more stressful than I'd thought it would be. Especially when its angle and shape seemed to change every two seconds.

Yes I'm thinking the same. As much as I'd love a boy I think it would throw a lot of things out and can see many positives in another girl.
