I'm not ttc till sept but at my annual appt a few weeks ago I asked for my hormone levels to be checked with the rest of my blood tests and it showed lower than normal T in my system (under 14 but not specific). Not sure what I'm doing that is contributing to it except maybe generally low food intake and stress/work/late nights/less sleep. But does having low T affect fertility (like low progesterone) or just sex drive?

I think that is good as pink swayers try to stay away from testosterone producing situations but am not sure about the numbers. Perhaps someone with more knowledge / experience can weigh in here?

I had several other results too. My sodium and potassium were on the low end of normal (only like few tenths higher) which is good I think. And my vit D level was so low it was suggested I take a supplement but I don't want to now. Btw, I've been doing a sort of LE diet since last summer - not eating till after 12, only 1 or 2 meals a day with a sugary snack between them (soda or cookies or yogurt parfait), usually less than 1500 cals/day. But I'm small, 5.25 ft tall and 94 lbs right now.

Hi there~ I would like to point out that being deficient in Vit D has been linked to early miscarriages as baby can't implant well. A quick google search will get you lots of info on that.

And honestly, low potassium isn't that great either :worry:

Please be careful and stay healthy and I wish you the best of luck! :)

We aren't totally sure if lower T in women affects fertility or not. It does seem to sway pink but we aren't even totally sure if that's true or if it's a coincidence.

Neither low sodium nor low potassium has been proven to sway pink and having low levels of those electrolytes can KILL YOU. PLEASE stay within the ranges in the LE Diet because yoru body needs them to function.

If your Vit. D level is that low, you may want to think about supplementing it at a low level, like 400 IU taken 3 days a week. You need that Vit. D for your health and sustain a healthy pregnancy. It may very well be the reason why your T levels are so low.
