I am one of the freakers LOL. The idea behind it is that antibiotics make you better therefore maternal condition is improved which sways pink.

Obviously women all over the world have got their DD whilst on antibiotics so this is just one piece of the jigsaw. Hope this helps.

Antibiotics are thought to sway blue sway because it increases CM and it effects ph. If your concerned you can use rephresh and antihistamines to counteract this.

Oh I did not know this - my cm was decreased by antibiotics (vaginal ones) and I used represh so am feeling better about things. Thanks

A&jmummy, I read it as though you are wanting to sway blue? Antibiotics are supposed to sway blue. So provided you're on the mend with Abs, and they are of a kind that is safe to take while pregnant it sounds like it is not a reason to skip. Hoping you're not ill or I'll either !!

Antibiotics supposedly increase CM (and several people have confirmed to me that they did) and make you more alkaline, which all CM makes you more alkaline.

Anitbiotics are actually not that great for you - they certainly don't improve your condition any that's for sure. I would try to avoid them when possible, but if you do absolutely need them for swaying, it's ok for blue. I would def. have you take a probiotic when you are taking them (a good idea for blue anyway)
