Which old-fashioned girl name?

I love old fashioned names for little girls. DH and I have pretty much narrowed our girl name down to Ruby or Clementine. Her middle name will probably be Bryce (my dad's middle name). Thoughts?

Me too! But it's funny, b/c I am NOT a fan of nicknames but I actually love the thought of a little "Clem" running around.

i vote for ruby very pretty and girly it was my choice for ds2 but hubby wasn't as keen - i think at the time ruby allen in eastenders put him off it :rolleyes:

I know a Ruby and a Clementine. I don't like color names for my own theoretical girls (I'm very picky about baby names), but I think they are both very cute names.

I love Clemmie and Clementine Bryce sounds fab! Ruby is a very common name in the UK especially after a song called that by *I think* the Kaiser Chiefs. Correct me if I'm wrong please I'm rubbish on recent music - I was born in the wrong decade for music!

Ruby is very common in Australia. Clementine is very elegant and different so I'd go with that
