Please don't panic, e coli in your urine is super super common and all it means is that you have a UTI which is easily treatable. E coli is one of the most common causes of UTI's.
E coli is a very common bug and is inside us all, all the time. Escherichia coli - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escherichia_coli) The only time it causes disease is when it is a virulent strain (very rare) that gets into your stomach from eating contaminated food. There are hundreds of strains of ecoli and most of them are totally harmless and meant to be in your guts. Even newborn babies have these harmless e coli's in their intestines within 2 days of birth. Some of your harmless e coli's just managed to grow their way into your bladder and gave you a little infection, easily treatable.

Can you call and see/talk to a nurse practitioner- at least they should be able to put your mind at ease.
