I had a private scan done at 16 weeks and 4 days. The lady doing the ultrasound told me that I had a boy. She said she saw the little boy parts 3 different times but the only clear picture I got is this picture. I have a scan on Wednesday and I am just fearful that they are gonna tell me my boy is not a boy. My friend swears that it doesn't look like a boy to her. Kinda disappointing I have wanted a boy from the start and always felt that it was a boy!! I know they are the professionals and I shouldn't doubt them but I know they can be wrong!! What do you guys think?

I see your concern that is not a convincing pic. But my guess is it probably is boy

Is it shot from overhead? That's why it looks like to me. It's not the best pic...but a tech seeing boy bits 3 times is pretty darn convincing. I would be pretty convinced at just that, without a picture. I remember my second son at 16 weeks was pretty obvious. So I imagine yours was too!

I actually thought pink before reading what you wrote. I'd be hesitant based on this shot to get too excited. Also if you paid out of pocket for this scan you deserve much more convincing and clear gender images.

Yeah she never got a potty shot. He was not moving much and she kept saying she saw boy bits but the cord was running through as well and couldnt get a pic. This was the only gender pic I was given. I guess I should have waited and not paid 100 dollars for something that I didn't even get a convincing shot.

I think they owe you a free rescan.
