Ok Ladies, I need some help, my "test" attempt last night was terrible!

Ok, so I ovulated early last week so I knew I was safe to have a bd not using anything. We are having our attempt on May 9th for real so I wanted to do a test run, this is how it went:

7:30pm ph was 4.4, did a vineager douche
8:30pm fingertip of sylk, dh took very hot bath
8:45ish BD, took forever, lol, I think the hot bath which he never does killed it! LOL, oh and we used sylk as a lube
after bd and 20 mins check ph it was 7.8! Yikes! I took a cranberry pill, extra strength and drank CL
This morning PH was still 6.7

this is not working! I do have Aci-jel ordered and coming. I am buying zyrtec for reeal attempt. Could it be the sylk? It was the first time i used it, should I experiment with that more this week? Please give any and all advice here!! My ph has been so great but this is bad!!!

I would definitely do more experimenting...different products do different things to people so it could be the Sylk. I have Sylk as well but haven't tested it yet. As a side note, WHERE, OH WHERE did you find a place to buy Aci-jel? Been searching online and keep coming up w/nothing!

OHHHHH...Thx! I also have Replens (and haven't tested it either) but I'm thinking Aci-jel is better. I'm willing to shell out the $52 since this is our last shot.

Sylk has caused some people's pH to rise but then again so does semen!!

That is why I like the RepHresh, it reacts with stuff to keep pH low. But that having been said, I don't think it's make or break with the pH.

You may find that after using Sylk a few more times, your body gets used to it and the pH stays down.
