Thank you so much to all of those that have supported me so far, through this long journey of TTC. I got my BFP on Good Friday at 10dpo but was anxious that it may not stick around until today - 14dpo - but it has! I have learned a lot of lessons along the way, especially patience and not taking anything for granted, so I'm approaching each day with caution. Although, the excitement is starting to make an appearance now! I know that I am blessed with this child and hope that whatever the gender, it'll be a healthy Christmas baby. I have already started my daily dose of aspirin to prevent pre-term pre-eclampsia, which was successful for ds2.
I swayed my heart out, but so many things factored into it taking so long to get my bfp. I am disappointed that I had to gain weight as I lost a few lb too many and stopped ov in January. I gained 2lb from af-ov (20 days) in March, through eating lots of choc & sweets, but stuck to all the LE principles apart from cals. I hope that I was nutrionally deprived enough for the extra cals not to sway too hard in the blue direction! I was very strict on LE diet from August 2012 - March 2013 & only ate meat on Xmas day. I hope that the 2 cycles I had on Clomid counter-acted the weight gain, it certainly changed my cm in a girl-friendly way! I'll post my sway in a couple of weeks, just want to make sure that I have a truly sticky bean first. :)
