Hello, I have never posted here but I have been on In gender and a-gender. I have 3 beautiful daughters. Our first was not a sway, our second I did shettles method for a boy and it did not work. The third baby I did a-gender platinum plus package and payed almost 500.00. It was very extensive diet, timing, moon phases with specific dates to Dtd, tracking O, raising ph with bs finger ph ion drops etc. and much more. Had an awesome attempt and I ended up with my third girl. So, my issue is I am having one more baby and I obviously would love a boy, Cannot afford high tech either. I would be ok with another girl oviously or wouldn't be having another baby but have a desire for a boy. I am at a loss as to what to do as I feel I've tried everything. Any advise out there? Atomic what are your thoughts? Thanks everyone and I hope you all get you're DG

I agree with tree I would deff try uping his sperm count! Try dtd once as close to o as poss but with a good 4 5 day cut off
Good luck

Check out the successful boy sways. The HE diet is important, exercise, boy supps and increasing sperm numbers.

I am confused about this because I have heard negative things about doing the cut-off. I did a three day cut off the past two attempts and was unsuccessful. I am going to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. I got pregnant on it once before but it ended in a miscarriage. I'm pretty sure it's all just luck but I will keep trying different things until they work!!

Hi Mackenzie, I purchased the platinum plus plan from A-gender and they were helping me all the way up to my first attempt last fall. They just stopped answering my emails and I got the message....I am curious to know when you had your failed sway? They kept boasting that their results were close to 100%....made me wonder looking back.

I also have 3 girls and would love a boy. I got pregnant using mostly a-gender diet in November but felt simply awful and miscarried in Dec. I think the diet was to blame for feeling awful.

I have been doing the HE diet since then and i'm waiting right now to test, no sign of AF, who is due tomorrow, so we'll see...the longer I am on the HE diet and on Genderdreaming, the more the Gender Dreaming way of swaying makes sense to me over the IG and a-gender methods.

Hope you find some info that helps you on here. Good luck!

I'm a mom to 3 girls and 1 son thanks to a successful GD sway. My go to advice is this, research how to sway girl. Find out where you are naturally most like that and focus on those things. For me it was diet and cm. I gave the HE my all and took fish oil to increase my CM. I gave up on pH as nothing affected it, gained weight, had tons of ewcm and now a son. GL ladies!

Oh sorry I think I started to reply and then must ahve gotten interrupted.

First of all hi and welcome. Glad you found us.

Our diet is super different than the other ones out there. Shettles doesn't work. pH doesn't work and BSF may even be worse than nothing for TTC a boy if you don't have much CM. Some of the commonly used supps are absolutely AWFUL for your health and lowered maternal condition may sway pink as well. TBH, it is a miracle to me that anyone ever gets boys with the traditional sway.

My advice would be, High Everything Diet, sensible supps (multivitamin, folic, Vit. D, fish oil, EPO or flaxseed for you, multi, Vit. D, and fish oil for DH), weight lifting, get plenty of rest for both you and DH, quit smoking if either of you do, keep caff and alcohol moderate or drop all together, DTD every 2-4 days and then 3-5 attempts at pos. OPK, and Preseed.

Sperm meets egg plan is perfect for TTC a boy. :agree:

For those who are reading this and now confused, sometimes blue swayers refer to "cutoffs" as periods of time their husband does not release, and NOT the Shettles TTC a girl cutoff technique.

Atomic is it best to try a few times on the day of ovulation and up to 12hrs later. Would
You suggest that this is the best time to conceive a boy?

atomic sagebrush

NO it is NOT best to wait till day of ovulation. It takes a LONG time for sperm to get to the egg and if you wait around till you've ovulated, you really cut down odds of conception by quite a lot (and effectively lower sperm numbers).

I think it's best to have 3-5 attempts at or around positive OPK. So just before, at, and just after.

Thanks atomic, well I just finished an attempt did what you suggested for boy, 2-4 days before than lots of Dtd after pos opk. My diet is usually girl friendly but with dd3 I was on more of a he style diet not exact though I didn't really like the A-gender diet so kinda just did my own variation and I did gain weight but still conceived a girl but what they told me to do was bsf week leading up to o 3 times on o day 3 rd time one hour before o. My ph was a 9 after bsf right before attempt and they said VERY boy friendly. Apparently not. Also, I was told to Dtd once 24 hours after pos opk. I think for us the biggest factor would attempting way more times near and around o. My second dd was 2 times after pos opk. First dd don't know but that is really the only thing we haven't tried yet. Duh likes his beaver buz though but had also stopped that conceiving dd3. So he doesn't think swaying works basically, he just wants to " let it happen" and what we get is what we get. Healthy is what is important :) . I don't think trying something a little diff hurts though ;)

Atomic, is it ok for me to take a prenatal vitamin as the multi vitamin? Materna is what I'm taking. Also how much of the fish oil, vit d and epo? Thanks

I prefer that people stay away from the seaweeds. They're just too great an unknown for health, let alone when TTC. Seaweeds make toxins as part of their growth and development, and while people do eat seaweed, it's in much smaller amounts than the highly concentrated supplement form.

Yes perfect.

500-1000 mg fish oil
500 epo or flaxseed *you have to be sure you are getting equal or less epo to fish oil, it;s not good for health to take more epo/flaxseed than it is fish oil.

Vit D varies depending on how much and if you have it in your prenatal. I like people to take total of 1000 IU or so (1200 is ok, 800 is ok, 5000 is not ok and 50 is not enough)
