My husband and I are going to start trying to conceive come August/September. We are going to be swaying for a boy and are starting to implement swaying starting this month. There are a couple meds/supplements that I currently take and wanted to know it they effect swaying for a boy at all. I take Beano and I also take melatonin. I have not read anything anywhere so I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas. Thanks!

Thinking melatonin may help with boy sway possibly I have no idea but one thing I do know is it makes you healthier which would equal boy... I give melatonin to my autistic son who used to be sick for months out of the year and he is bar,ey ever sick now for 4 years almost

I think beano is fine but I don't think melatonin is that great for you in general so I would say not to take it. I just read an article online about it, hopefully atomic will chime in, she would know better than I would

the Beano, I really honestly can't say because there is info pointing both ways. My gut instinct says it would sway blue because it ups blood sugar and may help you digest foods better.
i advise against using melatonin when TTC. It's not safe in months you will be getting pg and it's not safe to start and stop it either. The HT ladies use it, but they typically do egg retrieval in a different month from when they get pg and can wean off of it.

Thanks guys! I have only been using it for about 2 months and we are going to TTC starting in August so I will start weaning off it now so I am no longer taking it starting the beginning of May. I have a feeling though that starting te HE diet will help with sleep though. LOL today was the first day I tried it and OMG I am tired and I feel so full. Not like over stuffed but very nicely full. :)
