Am I suppose to still feel hungry after a meal? Like when I skip b'fast and lunch I have a smallish meal but am still hungry. Should I fill up on starch or get use to this hungry feeling?

I've just started LE diet so keen to see what response you get here :)
I too skip breakfast and that's tough. Small (ish) lunch and I've got to get to dinner time. They say we shouldn't be starving but I find it so difficult to know what to eat
Are you looking to lose weight?

Im no expert and hopefully atomic or someone equally informed will chime in but I think it depends on the calorie range you're trying to stay in. I'm doing between 1500-1800 calories a day because I'm still bf DS2 so I try to have two meals a day and a naughty sugary "snack" in between or before bed. Therefore each meal usually weighs in at about 600-700 calories most times. Best way to keep track of your calories is to use Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com (http://www.myfitnesspal.com) so you know how much you've got left to maintain your calorie range per day.
Personally I think it's best to have long gaps between meals so you do get nice and hungry and keep blood sugar levels low. If you're starving it may be because you aren't getting enough calories. I don't have anymore weight to lose though so I have to be strict.
Hope this helps!

With hunger, every person is different, the important thing is to stay within the limit of diet.
I was never hungry after I ate, I could never have stuck with a diet like that!!! I ate bigger meals less often, that was what worked for me. There is no right or wrong way.

Yes this is the way I am too. Starving before eating - and god forbid anyone should get between me and the fridge- but full afterwards. I work out how much I can eat in the way of carbs first and make sure that I will be full with hat much bread, rice or pasta and have a lighter sauce or more veg. You need to be full after y our meals or you won't be able to keep it up. Good luck finding your balance.
