Do any of you know your pH prior to swaying? I'm questioning this whole pH thing and was wondering what you ladies are naturally. TIA

Before i started the diet and supps back in jan, I was around a 7 and it really took a lot to get down to 4-5 ish. So I thin I'm normally very high pH...then again, my normal diet is quite boy-friendly!

Before I started swaying with DS 4 my pH was at 6, then I lost weight and dropped to 4.5 within just a couple weeks. My pH was at 4.5 when I conceived him! :/
I'm with ya on the pH thing - I've seen too many opposites born to people who thought diet was too hard so they only wanted to douche and take supps.

I have no clue what to say...my ph is low and I see so many ladies swaying for pink complaining about high ph , like 7+ .
But we on the other site swaying blue most of us has low ph...so even there is nothing to it I want my ph to be high!

See that's interesting cause many of us swaying pink are trying to keep ours low. Atomic, my whole take is that you can't just artificially lower it by douche and lubes but you have to have a low pH from the inside by sticking to the diet as well. What do you think? maybe it's diff for everyone?

Mine is around 7, I hoping to lower it with the diet and supplements. I too will just feel better if it's low!

I got pregnant for a short time in January, while I was pregnant I dropped the girl diet and supplements and ate like I did when not on the diet and my pH rose from a 4.5/5 to a 6.5/7.5 when I m/c I went back on the diet and supps and struggled to get it back down past 5. I don't know what it was when I got pregnant with my boys but I believe it was similar. I could not get my pH down on supps alone it had to be diet too.

Yes, that would be what I tend to think but supps can really lower pH from the inside out and yet people are still getting opposites unfortunately. I don't think anyone needs to throw pH out the window but I don't think anyone should stress about the difference between 4.7 and 5 or 6 versus 7, because people are getting opposites even with the correct pH.

I totally understand and I think most of the things that help to raise pH are gonna help with a blue sway anyway. So even if there's nothing to pH, it may be an indicator of other things.

I feel like I'm doing everything else great but my pH is mighty stubborn and I don't want to go back to bsf.
AS - I hear ya on the opposites just based on pH and pH being an indication of your other sway factors. I fear that my unbudging pH is proof that my sway isn't as strong as I think. :worry:

any time i have ever checked my ph it has been low swaying or not. maybe it just gets high right at ovulation? im not sure. im sure for me my boys were the result of a high salt low calcium diet. i never lost any weight with any of them before pregnancy.

WantingPink, was your 4.5 PH tested during ovulation? I haven't tested enough to confirm how much my PH might go up at Ovulation. We're TTC Boy and I'm hoping that ovulation will be the boost for my PH cuz we're going for it either way. My last 2 were both boys but I have no idea about my PH for any of my children.

I don't know what my pH was when my boys were conceived but the pH I just recorded was during ovulation. I would highly recommend focusing on good EWCM... seems to me that a lot of us boy producers and are good EWCM producers:) I was also gaining weight when I got pregnant with both of my boys. I also salt the crap out of everything:)

I could never get my PH above a 6, ever. I was on the supps and diet for 8 weeks and it never budged. So I just did BSF and that brought me to a 7+ on BD day.

Several mths ago my ph was fairly high... messing with it a little I ate my normal summer foods for a week and my ph went up a lot. I went back to eating mostly chicken and some pasta and it dropped a little. But it went up a point with O.... now with missing a meal, eating small, low salt and protein, tons of dairy it went down to 5.7 and with repleans and rephreash it really went down and has stayed low.

Never lost any weight from the birth of DS#2 and I've never eaten so much but I haven't weighed myself. My muffin top tells a pretty good story though. I'm a little fearful that after 2 boys in a row, the odds are stacked against me for another DS plus over 35 sways girl I read. Of coarse, I'll take a healthy baby girl any day of the week, too. :)
My CM has always been good but taking the Mucinex and supps I'm scared I won't recognize it or that the EWCM is just from the supps. I don't think I ovulated at all last month since no EWCM but I can't be sure as my cycle just seemed to right itself w/ only 2 weeks between AF's. I guess we'll see but I don't want to miss this cycle to ttc. We'll have to see about the OPK's when I take it this afternoon.
Anyway, this isn't my thread but thanks for letting me vent (not that I gave anyone a choice) :)

TOTALLY this! I have always had good EWCM and gaining weight with 3 of the 4 boys, holding steady with the other.

I wanted to shout out to people, I'm not losing weight on purpose, OK! I'm trying to sway boy! :) Finally my hips moved back enough to fit in a pair of my pre baby #4 jeans today, but it really pushed my muffin top and back fat into some unattractive places. :) I used to get asked if I was anorexic, so Not the case anymore. :) Glad DH still finds me hot, and loves the junk in the trunk too. :) I think the phrase is a little cushin for the pushin. LOL!

i desperatly wish i knew what my ph was with my three boys. been hard core dieting for the past year before finding out about swaying and before starting any supps at all my ph was low 4, i am finding the diet hard since i am not ttc yet i am not motivated but have started supps just need to check how it will effect my cycle as i dont want to get caught out. DH swimmer are a very high ph so put him on cranberry supps too. i am really worried about sodium and pottasium levels. i skip breakfast and lunch but tend to eat quite a bit in the evenings. again i didnt know about swaying with the other three so dont know about ewcm but i know i get it for 4 days now but it starts to dry up on the day i get a +tiv OPK???? which is weird. i dont want to use sudafed until the official attempt as i plan to use that as my indicator before OPK's for my timing.

I think you're poised for a great sway!!! Don't stress over anything, you're going to do very well with all you're doing.
Two things - it is actually quite normal for CM to dry up around the time of a pos OPK. Most babies that have ever been conceived were from sperm that were in the female body days before ovulation - the entire female reproductive tract is designed to aid sperm in surviving for days before the egg even arrives.
Also, I really really don't like Sudafed, I think it has too many side effects, so unless you LOVE it yourself, I would suggest trying an antihistamine like Zyrtec or Benadryl (or both Zyr. and Ben. if need be) to help you dry up your CM a little bit.

LOL! Naughty man! :) I ask my DH took keep those types of pics to himself. I don't find myself attractive so I don't want to see them. I get so embarassed.
Ha! I'm sure if I sent some of the above discussed photos you would see my muffin top and back fat. My body shape has changed too, my top thighs are pretty big at this point. I'm not "big" but naked ain't pretty either. :)
