We are not ttcing yet but hope to after the summer. I met a girl I know today who has just had her third boy. She said to me "funky fry" you should go again, it's a piece of cake with 3 (think she wS bring sarcastic) but you probably will have a boy because once you have had two of the same gender there is an 80% chance you will have a third of that gender? And off she toddles? I was a but like ok so!

So anyway is this true?

i'm currently pregnant with a girl after 2 boys so it's definitely possible. Gather as much info as you can on swaying, follow your instinct on what to include and what to not include in your sway, and hope for the best. There are no guarantees but I do believe that swaying works(mainly the LE Diet!)

Congrats on your pregnacy. I am definitely going to sway the best I can and do the LE Diet. I will also buy a plan. Just after hearing there is 80% chance of having same gender??

no she's not - its 50/50 with all babies for the average woman, some women do naturally sway more in favour of one sex naturally but swaying can counter act that

of all the moms i knew when i was pregnant with ds3 (and there were a good 6 or 7 of us with 2 boys) i was the only one who had a third boy - the more you flip a coin the more likely you are to flip an opposite!

I am preg with a HT girl after 2 naturally conceived boys. Over 3 cycles we had 10 normal embryos. 8 boys! Clearly he isn't a 50:50 sperm man.

Hi there

Congratulations.

I also want to try HT after having 3 girls naturally! I sometimes feel my man has no sperm to make boys or less of it, thats what worries me. Above all my greatest fear is come ET day and there are no healthy embryos to freeze, what a gamble!

How did you feel through the whole process? How easy is to do the injections yourself?

Many thanks.

It's not that hard to physically go through IVF. You just do it. The injections aren't that bad.

What is hard is the mental aspect of HT, the spending of thousands of dollars on a gamble. That's tough.

I encourage you to become a Dream Member so you can see the real HT side of this site. It's $12. HT is $15,000. It's worth the investment!

Many people without infertility issues get pregnant first try at HRC which is the clinic I used in America.

It took me three try's though and none frozen. With travel we have spent over $80000. I still can't believe that but I would do it all again. I will have this much wanted daughter for the rest of my life.

I finally had a boy after 3 girls. If you were as skewed as I was (I was accidentally swaying my ass off for pink) changing your habits definitely ups your odds. Gl!

Ht did not work for me. I have conceived easily naturally but for some reason ht did not work for me. Nbp is right. The injections are easy the mental aspect is very hard. I was devastated with 2 tries. I also traveled and spent a lot of money for ht with nothing to show for it. My second try, i had an early miscarriage. I have never had this before. I feel like I broke myself with ht. i am now trying naturally using swaying.

I am not saying that ht is not for you. Just that there are no guarantees that it will work. You just have to weigh the pros and cons.

I hope the chances are higher than that as I'm trying for a girl after two boys!

No, that's complete BS http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/762-statistics-question-anybody-know.html Your odds are slightly higher for a third boy (without swaying, that is)but nothing like 80%.

^^^ This!! Pink swayers, we've been getting excellent success rates with HE Diet for blue (high 70-80%) and so you may need to change your lifestyle to avoid inadvertently swaying blue!! With my 1st and 3rd sons, I may as well have been doing a blue sway.

His sperm can still be 50-50 and yet for reasons that we don't understand, perhaps somehow they fertilize the egg in different ratios. Or, it could be just luck. Random chance doesn't produce half heads and half tails coin flips, some people do get half and half, while others get all heads and others get all tails. It's totally possible to flip a coin 10 times and get 8 heads or 8 tails. I'm not saying that's what is happening (I've seen a few too many HT gender splits to believe that) but jsut that it is possible.

Men HAVE to make 50-50 X and Y sperm, because their bodies are composed of XY cells that divide in half to make 2 X and 2 Y sperm.

Hi everyone

I think when u try HT u have to with an open mind, clearly it is a rollercostet. What I dont understand is why are the pregnancies less likely to be succesful as the embryos has been carefully selected? Clearlu you are kind of pregnant as soon as the embryo is transferred. I know its a risk and I wish there were enough embryos to freeze so that things would be easier the next time round. Hopefully I want to give it one shot at least and if I have any embys to freeze maybe 2! I just wish I knew about swaying all along rather than thinking u get a bit of everything! Are there any drinks you should avoid when swaying blue such as pop etc?

I did subscribe to the site to have access to everything. When I had my girls I was a chronic dieter and cardio addict. Sugar free, fat free, low cal foods all the way. I also, left to my own devices, get busy and forget to eat. When I first started tracking my food I realized I naturally ate around 1000-1200 cals a day. Perfect girl range lol I had been swaying on IG and just come off a miscarriage at 13weeks when I came here and conceived my son. I wasn't exercising (feeling down) and had jumped headlong into the HE diet. I cut out all processed foods and focused on fresh fruits, veggies, meat and full fat dairy. My timing was perfect as my u/s estimated his conception date the day after I O'd from a one time bd with no additional lubrication. Between the fish oil and changes to my diet I was suddenly super slimy. Study how to conceive pink and focus on where you are accidentally swaying pink strongest. For me it was diet so that was my focus and for me it worked. GL and blue dust!!

They don't know why. Literally hundreds if not thousands of very complex biological processes have to function in perfect harmony for a successful pregnancy to be achieved, totally aside from the seeming health of the embryo. It's actually amazing that it succeeds as often as it does!!

When swaying blue I would avoid diet drinks and possibly alcohol/caffeine - def. do alcohol and caff in moderation only for both you and DH.
