A few questions:)

1. Where does everyone buy their preg. tests, opks, hanna's? Is there a good online store you know of?
2. What Hanna do I need to buy?

Also- in regards to me taking vitex...
I have no cycle yet(nursing), so I'm trying to get it going again....

3.Do I stay on it until my cycle returns? Do I go on for 2 weeks and come off for 2? Would it even be worth charting my temps yet until my first PPAF?

4. Dh is going to take licorice root...if my cycles don't return for 2-3 months...is that too long for him to be on it? He's doing 2 wks on, 2 off.
Thank you!!

I hope someone chimes in here on 1 and 2!

I found 2 W on, 2 W off to be very effective for restoring PPAF. It's prob. not going to work the first month, but by going off it for 2 weeks you are allowing that natural hormonal pattern to start up again. (if you take it every day, it kinda acts like a BC pill which is not the direction you want to go.)

Charting temps is kinda useless for most people but if you want to, you can certainly give it a try. You can start monitoring your CM and CP. Do you have access to a copy of TCYOF? There is a great chapter in there on how to use NFP while breastfeeding. Even if you have to get it from the library, it's worth a read.

DH should stay on licorice root 6 months max, then he needs to take a month off before resuming it. If he has a blood pressure cuff, you might want to check from time to time to make sure his BP is not going up.

Useless? Really? :( That sucks. So for a person like myself who gets SHOW a few times per month do you think it might be helpful? I'm just wondering how I'll know for sure that I've actually ovulated. I was planning on using CP, CM and temps to chart. (I have TCOYF:))

Thank you! I saw a thread stating it should be taken for 2wks on, 2wks off but we may be trying in 6 wks so I want it(testo) to lower as much as possible in those 6 wks. I have a cuff here:)

Really! That gives me hope!!! Can I ask how much you were taking? Mine is standardized 0.6% Aucubin. I'm just not sure how many pills/mg I should be taking daily.
Thank you both!!

I mean, useless while breastfeeding, not useless for most people. Sorry!!!

If you are already good with charting than I think you should DEF. chart. It's just that some people don't already know the patterns and stuff and so they are lost if they START temping while BF.

I buy my OPKS the one by early-pregnancy-test from ebay or amazon for cheaper price. They have great deals. Also the smiley ones.

Stevia does sway blue!
