Would you guess boy or girl? Could the white in the first pic be boy parts?

They are from a 14 week scan. Im having an other scan soon but im soo curios and would like to know what to expect when I go to that scan.

maybe boy, but 14 weeks is really early for an accurate potty shot.

I guess boy! I was told 14 weeks is the worst week for gender cause neither the potty or the nub is very accurate!

Looks like there is something between the legs I would say boy.

It does seem fairly busy in the general area...I would guess boy as well. The second pic looks most convincing. We saw boy parts with my first at 13 weeks and he did, in fact, turn out to be a boy :)

How do you see the difference between the cord and for example boy parts?

When can you see a scrotum in the ultrasound? I feel that my photos only have a long thing but not the turtle everyone is talking about. Can it still be a boy?

I am not 100% but at 20 weeks my little guy had testicles! I don't think they develop until after the 14th week as I have seen pictures of baby at 14 weeks and there is very little difference in down there! I will have to find the pics! link!

"By the 20th week of pregnancy the external genitalia changes are done. On ultrasound, if your baby is cooperating and is positioned in a favorable way, his or her sex can be identified as early as the 16th to 18th week of your pregnancy. " There you go hon! I was curious so had a look around!!

Yup the earliest for potty shot and more accurate is 16 weeks, at 14week it's difficult because it can still be a girl and her parts are still slightly swollen by 16 weeks if something is protruding out then more than likely its a penis :) so IMO it could be a boy but then there are still chances it turns out a girl, hope you get your gd :)

Thank you all for your answers! But how come that some people can get really clear potty shots of boys in week 12? They all develop really different or how come?

It's the profile pic and a guess of their nub angle http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultrasound-gender-prediction/60-nub-guessing-between-12-14-weeks.html

Potty shots at 12 weeks is just a good 50/50 guess :)
You can see here at this link that at 12 weeks their genitals look pretty much the same it's just the slight angle they start to take in a profile pic that you can guess if its gonna be a boy or girl :)

I think it looks boy, but it's not clear enough.

I had an obvious turtle at 15 weeks with DS2 but didn't at that point with DS1. With DD we clearly saw three parallel lines perfectly even and flat across at 14-1/2 weeks, no protrusions at all on potty shot. That's not supposed to be common though.

I think I found a nub shot. Does it look boyish or more like a girl nub?

that is way more than my daughter had going on at 13 w 6 days, there was nothing there on her potty shot. I agree that it's not super obvious but I would be cautiously optimistic. Blue dust!

One of the other girls here was told boy at first scan (15 weeks ish I think) and then most likely girl a few weeks later. I commented on her ultrasound so you can view my posts to have a look.

Thank you:-D Is it common that the nub changes after 14 weeks?

Yes it will get more and more obvious - that's why they don't generally do gender at early scans and wait for 20 w or so, because it changes a lot.

But It doesnt usuallly change to a more girly position after this week? I mean it wont suddently fall down and become a girl nub?:D
