I'm currently at the dr waiting to find out what is wrong with me but I've been a mess for 4 days which was cd1 and today is cd4. I know being ill sways girl but will this affect me next week for my attempts? I'm trying to stick to the HE diet but have not lifted weights in 5 days. I'm hoping to be back on track by tomorrow. Will this ruin my sway? I'm still going to take my chances because I really just want to get pregnant but I'm still curious.

We have had bad stomach viruses make the rounds where we live. It was awful!

Oh that sounds horrible!! I'm the only one sick in my family and just found out I have pneumonia. I will be on antibiotics for 5 days. I will Ov in about 10 so I'm hoping things will be okay. Either way, we are still attempting this month so I shouldn't have even asked the question. Now I'm hoping to lift weights again on Wednesday which will make it a week :( Dh doesn't believe in swaying and we both want a baby so bad that we will have to take our chances. Hopefully being on the HE diet for a decent amount of time will help. I've slipped here and there but have been doing it for the most part. Sorry about the stomach flu, that sounds horrible!! I hate being nauseous!!

Kiki - I am 100% in your boat and we, too, decided more than anything we just want to be pregnant again and if it is a boy, just an added bonus, so we went for it. I am now in the 2WW and finally feeling a little better, so I hope you get better soon! If is makes you feel any better, I WAS lifting weights when I got preg with DD and WAS NOT doing much of anything when I got pregnant with a baby boy which I sadly miscarried. A lot of me thinks a lot of it is still just up to chance...no matter how much we sway. Good luck!

Thanks onthepond! I just saw you were sick too. How crazy! I'm not sure where you live but it's finally getting nice here so I'm shocked to just now be getting sick. I should O in about a week so I'm hoping there is enough time to crank it up. I still do things like gelatin, coconut water, and V8 because it makes me feel like I'm doing something even if it doesn't work. If I don't get a bfp this month, I'm dropping everything but HE, supplement, and weights because I think those actually help with health overall. I hope your 100% soon and get your bfp this month. I can imagine the waiting is horrible after a loss. My loss was relatively early which I think made it easier.

Hope you are feeling better soon!!!

What if I am better now and done taking antibiotics 4 days before my attempt? Is it still better to wait? I did not lift any weights (until yesterday) for a week. Any way 4 months of weight lifting will over power that?

I can't say and have no way to know (my crystal ball is under repair LOL). What it boils down to is, how big a hurry you are in to get pg and how you would feel about an opposite. Some people need to get pg right away for a variety of reasons and they shoudl try. Others will have severe GD if they get an opposite without feeling like they did absolutely everything in their power to sway.

Dh is 42 so we are really under the gun. Especially because I want 2 more. I know no one can tell me what to do or see the future, although I would love if you could, haha!! I might have a little bit GD but nothing too big. I've worked my butt off the past 4 months so I'm still hoping that will be better than nothing.
