3d ultrasound at 26 weeks?

Hi,

Has anyone had a 3d ultrasound at 26 weeks? If so how did the pics turn out?

I was going to wait till 28 weeks but I'm so impatient I have re booked it for 26 weeks, now I'm worried that the pics won't be as good ...

I have heard (and it also says in the baby center page) That the best time for 3d is between week 26 and 30. I think after that there is too much water to see the baby well.

I had one at 31 weeks and got some pretty good pics! I bet 26-28 weeks would be great for a 3D ultrasound.

i would honestly wait till 31 weeks when theres so more meat on the baby... chubby babies are sooo cute i had one at 31 and he looked so much better

The place I'm going to advise to go between 26 - 30 weeks. I booked one for 28 weeks but i have rescheduled it for 26 weeks as I'm so impatient! I was just wondering how much difference there would be in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if I can wait though, lol

i would wait the 2 weeks

at 26 weeks the baby is about 2 pounds and at 28 weeks they are about 2 1/2

i was actually 30 weeks for my second one... i got my second one for free cause he was super uncooperative for the 26 week one

there are dates on the pics the ones in nov are 26 weeks and dec is 30

I know I should wait the extra couple of weeks really as I probably would get better pics but I'm awful at waiting, also my mum is going into hospital for an operation and we don't know when yet but could be any time soon, It may clash with my scan if we wait and if so I would have to cancel it. So I'm thinking of getting it done this weekend anyway. I just hope the pics turn out as cute as yours above.

Compared to a newborn pic of DS1 their features look identical!
We also got to see Hudson open his eyes a few times which doesn't happen often :)

Wow, thanks cvd, that pic is so cute and very clear for 27 weeks! he has beautiful chubby cheeks :) I have decided to go tomorrow as planned, I can't wait. Patience is not my strong point!

I just hope that we get some good images. I will post them tomorrow for you to see.
