I just had tonsillitis and was put on amoxicillin for 10 days ( started 2 day before first attempt) I didn't know this would affect anything but heard that antibiotics sway blue. It mad eme have loads of ewcm though like way more than I normally have at o. So basically noe I'm worried that I ruined my sway attempt. What do u ladies think? Thanks in advance.

I think that it does sway pink, but there are no magic bullets and you can have an opposite with any sway tactic. If you feel good about your sway otherwise, please don't worry about it!

Well, I am breast feeding still which I've heard sways pink too. Our attempt was good though. Why does being sick sway that way? I'm not sure if I even believe swaying really works from my history of swaying but who knows. Nothing has worked for me so far. I guess what's done is done Will see if I get bfp or not. I just don't think it's even possible for me to have a boy.

We don't know why being sick sways.

There are no magic bullets anyway so please don't despair, there are people who do everything "right" and still get opposites and vice versa.

Some people say the antibiotics sway blue. I don't think we have enough data yet to say for sure. I hope they do for you!! :)

Thanks atomic, I was one of the did everything right with dd3 and was def not sick when I conceived her and got an opposite. That is why I have a hard time believing.

I had the flu...BIG TIME...when I conceived DS1...
I agree with Atomic...just one factor & probably minimal when compared to the other bigger sway tactics...like diet.

Well, even if swaying is 80% effective, 20% is still a LOT of opposites. And I actually think it's a miracle anyone gets a boy from the IG/French/Shettles/pH stuff, biologically it seems to me to be just about dreadful for TTC a boy.

I know it's a huge leap of faith to take after getting an opposite though. I am not sure I could have done it if I hadn't been ok with another boy  sending you more blue dust than you will know what to do with.

I didn't really do much to sway for a dd when I conceived my ds2 but my hubby had an infection in his finger and was on anti B for 2 weeks and only stopped them the day before our attempt and we had another boy... Not saying it did make us have a boy but may of a little bit?? plus I was eating my usual EVEYTHING in the kitchen cupboard diet!!

Thanks atomic, the blue dust is very welcome. I would love another dd otherwise I would not have another baby but i would love a son..obviously. At the same time, there are just so many ppl out there that cannot even have children. I think we who do easily should sometimes stop and think how lucky we are to have the beautiful, healthy children that we do.

Hi atomic, I just thought I'd ask...I found out this year that I have chron's disease but a mild form. I am in complete remission right now is I thought it wouldn't affect my sway as I have been feeling great. What do you think? I have also conceived 2 of my girls while super healthy in remission. Thanks
