BD timing question

First let me start off by saying this site is such a blessing! I have never been on a public forum where everyone is so nice and HELPFUL! So refreshing! I think I pretty much have my sway plan down pat. Just zeroing in on some supps to add or get rid of! Just want to know how many of you ladies have had a successful sway with having DH release inside of you every 2 days after AF is done. Did you do it all the way until expected O and then stop? Did you do it until expected O and then do it more than once in the same day? Or did you do it every 2 days until expected O and then just keep going? I hope this didn't confuse anyone. I am a little confused myself. Also is there any truth to girls living longer than boys? If there is any truth to that wouldn't BDing every 2 days up until O sway pink because they boys would die by the time the egg got there? :sigh:

For TTC boy the current advice is to BD every 2-3 days after AF leaves town, then go for 3 tries in 24 hours at first +OPK. Which means, for example, that night, next morning and next night. And NO, all sperm live the same amount of time and at the same speed, regardless of XX or XY.

Thanks so much! Did you use this method for your successful boy sway? Is DH supposed to release inside of me the whole time or just after the +opk?

I did my sway back in 2008... it was a Trivers Willard sway. Basically HE, but there is newer information now. You should consider a custom plan, Atomic will lay it all out for you, right down to the little details.

DH released inside me the whole time and even sometimes in the months leading up to our attempt month if I knew I wasn't close to O. Mass numbers of sperm equals more boys, and my girls were both conceived from one attempt so I gladly did three this time!

That's actually very detailed thanks! Did you do a diet or ph? Congrats on your boy By the way! Our dd was conceived one day out of the month and 2 days after O I believe. So I'm liking your sway!

Yes I did diet as well. I have my sway posted in pretty good detail but feel free to ask any questions you may have in addition! I did not bother with PH, that to me just wasn't believable and I decided to put my effort elsewhere! I used Preseed as well as my natural EWCM and left it at that! Thanks for the congrats! That is how I got ALL my boys. That is what most of the boy moms do, we just have regular sex with our husbands every 2-4 days or so (just normally, that's how we roll haha) and then in addition to that when we are TTC, we have several attempts when we are fertile.

It's not that you just have sex every 2-4 days, in addition to that you also should have 3-5 attempts at or around positive opk.

The releasing every 2-4 days will boost your husband's sperm count and testosterone, when it's inside you, the hormones can help your blue sway, and the 3-5 attempts up sperm numbers.

Timing does not sway, X sperm DO NOT live longer than Y sperm, that's been totally debunked.

We didn't sway for DD. But here is how she came to be

I was very skinny when I got pregnant with her. I am 5'8 and I was about 128 pounds. I NEVER ate breakfast. I ate at very random times. I NEVER drank water. I would drink a lot of sweet tea, and coke. I was in advanced fitness in school (got pregnant my senior year so this was a class I had to take 5x a week) so for everyday I was walking a mile and doing some strength. DH (who boyfriend at the time) was in Tech School for the army. I hadn't seen him in a few weeks. I had just gotten off of BC so when I saw him I was just off of my first AF after getting off BC. From my calculations I had ovulated on Wednesday or Thursday of that week and I saw him on a Friday or a Saturday (Can't remember the exact day) So I either got pregnant 2 or 3 days after ovulation. We only had sex once. Missionary. And no orgasm for me. DH was very stressed. Had a poor diet and his boys were always very very hot. Hopefully now that our lifestyle is completely different this time around we can have DS!

OK I was actually just trying to plan this out in my phone what days we would need to have sex so that they would fall 2 days apart in my fertile window. So I guess now I dont want to do that. We just started DTD every 2-4 days this month (were pretty lazy when it comes to DTD:worry:). So when July rolls around (our TTC month) what cycle day do you suggest I start letting him release inside of me and then how often?

But you don't have to plan it out like that, you will get stressed out worrying that you have to dtd every two days!! Just try for every 2-4 days, if once in awhile it is 1 or5 days, don't sweat it.

I have been reading all the successful boy sways and have noticed most start the "attempts" o-4 or o-3 but almost always they have sex o-1 and then o as well. My friend who just found out she is having a boy had a o-1 attempt and a o+1 attempt. I think you are definitely into something by boy being swayed by a bunch of swimmers just hanging out in there waiting. So I am just going to let DH have a field day and make sure I stuff my face extra good that week as well!
