This time it took me 4 months, I just got my bfp last week but no idea if my sway worked yet lol! I knew I couldn't get pregnant with a long cut off as I tried for neatly a year with ds2 so I tried a 3 day cut off then a 2 for a few months and got my bfp after frequent bd with a 2 day cut off!
Will update as soon as I fond out, it's gonna be a long wait lol

Yes!!! If I had to tell someone how to conceive a girl it would be the poor nutrition option, in the last 5 years I have conceived only girls, 3 of them, my diet has consisted of white bread morn, noon and night and chocolate. I have sent my blood sugars on a roller coaster. Toast, sandwiches anything cheap, pasta and cheese but 99% pasta with a sprinkling of cheese, and empty sweet cereals, corn flakes, rice crispies anything quick, cheap and sugary, very little nutrition at all. I have become very lazy in this time also as we got a car 5 years ago and I have driven everywhere, so all my once muscle (I used to be quite strong lol) has wasted to blubber, nice picture I know:rofl: But all of this fits with the girl theories so I am back to eating properly and getting of my butt!!!:agree:

lol, i had to change my diet dramitically for this sway! I used to eat lots of snack food, always had three meals a day and slowly was putting on weight after ds2. I managed to cut out breakfast and have a small lunch sometimes not at all and pasta with cheese for dinner oh and lots of dairy! Lost 18lbs and am now down to 8st 5 so praying this sways for a girl! Only been off diet for 2 weeks and already put on 3 lbs lol, fingers crossed its all worth it

It will be;) How exciting!!

How long was you losing weight? Was it just from lack of food or was you doing any exercise?

lol I was sent a letter inviting me to go on OBEM, but I'd already had my son by then!

the diet thing is interesting... in hindsight, I did everything to sway boy with him. I've always liked meat/pasta/potatoes/tomatoes, I did everything I could to conceive a baby which included supplements, BDing on the peak days, big O after DTD, etc.
I've always been a big snacker, though, and eat loads of chocolate or cake or biscuits. Probably addicted, but I feel like I need it and nothing else gives me that energy, so it's going to be hard to cut that out when I start the girl diet.

I'm just a bit worried about weight loss, because I'm petite already and currently slap bang in the centre of the healthy BMI for my height. I don't want to lose too much, and my weight has always been very stable!

EVen if you just lose a pound or two, every little bit helps. No one needs to lose tons of weight!! If you're thin to start with, a pound for you is "worth" more (because it's a higher % of your body weight) than it does for another person.
