Yes, I believe that much coffee is not good for a blue sway.

I would reduce that by half and drink tea instead of coffee!

I think pineapple is good for blue, but there are no magic foods, ou don't need to stuff yourself with pineapple. Make it a part of an otherwise healthy diet.

My MIL is a huge coffee drinker and she has 6 girls. I think my DH was a fluke. Also all the women that I work with that have 5+ cups of coffee per day all have girls. But that is just an observation as I don't know what their full diets are like

I already answered this but ^^^ I agree everyone I know who drinks massive amounts of coffee have all/mostly girls. Boy moms do drink coffee but it isn't the extreme.

I got my DD with LOTS of coffee and my boys with tea (except DS 2, who was an anomaly in a lot of ways LOL, and he was with only mod. coffee like 1 cup a day)

I think that many cups of coffee will hurt your sway. I was a big coffee drinker when I conceived my girls at least 4 cups a day. When I was swaying blue I knew I couldn't cut it out completely so I limited myself to 1 cup and I made sure I had it with breakfast. Yes pineapple juice is good

When trying to conceive boy...should we use fresh pineapple or canned juice or canned pineapple is good too?

Fresh is best, there is a lot of sugar added to the canned stuff.

So basically coffee can ruin the sway? I too drink about 6 cups a day but I also dilute mine to 5 level scoops to 6 cups water ratio. I dont drink that much everyday, but almost every other day. I have cut out sodas and artificial sweetners completely though. I am a nurse so I am up at 430 am on the days I work (3-4, 12/13 hr shifts per week), and I have been unable to cut down the coffee because otherwise I am useless..lol. So basically I am doomed, destined to never have a boy. I wish there were easier ways to get your desired gender. I have tried adding green tea instead of coffee and that does not do it for me either. Any extra advice or am I really doomed if I can't decrease my coffee intake?

Have you tried adding in B12 to your supps? Maybe taking b12 and drinking green tea will give you the added energy you need, at least during your sway.

My stepmother drank GALLONS of coffee (and she still does, in fact I just got her a Keurig for Mother's Day and she was so happy she cried :) ) and she has 3 girls.

No, not yet. I guess I can try that next month if this month is a bust. If this month turns up in a bfp though, I guess I may be preparing for dd3

There are no magic bullets. You can get a boy drinking coffee by the ton and a girl drinking none and everything in between. :)

I agree with the commentor who suggested B sups and green tea. I have three girls, and drank coffee (anywhere from 1-4 cups/day). (Although it's funny that once pregnant I can't stand coffee. Don't know why, but my sister has the same symptom, and I'm waiting to see what gender her baby is). The B vitamins can really help with energy. But if nothing else, gradually decrease the coffee by a cup every week, so this week drink only 6 cups, or switch to a smaller mug. Don't try to go cold turkey! Also, I find that taking a magnesium supplement called Natural Calm helps me with headaches and coffee withdraws, so maybe it would help you too. I no longer drink coffee every day, and have switched to green tea in the morning. I still have it when we go out to breakfast, or with other people, and occasionally just because, but I don't feel like I NEED it anymore. I'm hoping that will make a difference in my sway coming up.

Also, for those who really can't do the green tea, with 3 of my 4 boys I was drinking regular black tea 4-6 times a day.

U guys think a mug of black tea with a tsp of half and half & a packet of stevia in the raw is ok? I love black tea but doctored up a bit! I'm working on this yummy organic homemade granola bar recipe.as soon as I perfect it I will post it!
