on the girl diets, can you eat your 5 a day? I haven't sat down and figured out how much of each veg you can eat yet, but I know on the French diet that vegetables are limited - to one or two portions depending on the weights.
I'm not a dieter yet but normally fairly obsessive about getting my 5 a day for my own digestive health purposes, so a bit concerned about the restrictions in these diets!
please can you share what fruit/veg you eat in a typical day on either girl diet?

Fruits and veggies offer lots of nutrition which is not good for a girl sway so you have to eat only certain ones.

yeah, I think I can live with the restrictions on vegetable selection! just can't imagine even a salad can be a decent size on either diet and, if it is, it means you can't have much for other meals
or can you have as much fruit (from the allowed list) as you like?

I would try to limit fruits and vegies to a certain extent BUT if you stick to the less nutritious ones like cucumber, iceberg lettuce, peeled apple, zucchini, green beans, then they can be an excellent addition to your sway. A lot of people eat strawberries and raspberries as well although i do think berries are highly nutritious and so you shouldn't go overboard. More nutritious vegies can be added in moderation as long as you don't go overboard - as in, a pound of broccoli drizzled in unsalted butter and melted Swiss Cheese and served with a liter of yogurt smoothie cannot be considered super girl-friendly. (but there are a lot worse things you could eat for TTC pink!!
Also, you can feel free to take a fiber supp like Chitosan or Metamucil with your girl diet to keep things flowing. It will actually help your sway by sweeping out healthy fats and fat soluble vitamins that raise your T levels.

Quantities are limited on the IG-style diet and on the French Diet because they are super concerned with getting the right ratio of minerals. On the Low-Everything style diet, low protein, low cal, and low fat are MUCH more important than the low nutrient idea, so if you find that a big iceberg lettuce salad with an entire cucumber helps you feel full longer, eat as much as you want. Even the more nutritious vegies are better than things that are high-cal, high protein, or high fat. If you eat vegies at every meal, even the nutritious vegies, as long as you are eating less cals, low protein and low fat, you're still swaying pink.

even if I do a more relaxed version of either diet, I'll still be eating less calories/healthier than the average person, so that should still sway pink odds in my favour more than before? I know I have plenty of bad things in my current diet that I can cut out, but I don't cope well with being hungry in general - I get really emotional/sensitive when I'm hungry and often dizzy/shaky as well. I think I'll find the diet quite difficult from that perspective.
good thing I like pears/cucumber/lettuce/apples!

WEll the downside is that the low blood sugar may be at least part of what is swaying pink, so you may need to have at least SOME time when you are a bit hungry.
You have it right, eating less calories sways pink regardless of what you're eating - it's just that a lot of the advice is targeted at a "perfect" sway, for those who want to do absolutely everything. But it's FINE if you don't want to go the whole hog. There are many small changes you can make and it may very well be the case that those small changes will be enough to sway.
