DH is being a pain in my ***! He wont take fish oil because he is a vegetarian. Does the mans diet/supps really have that much of an effect or is it more me? Right now he is on Centrum Multi, Folic Acid, and Zinc. Should I add him on anything else? I am taking a Fish Oil/Flaxseed/Borage Oil blend. But I think I remember atomic saying something about no borage oil? I am on that blend along with Nature Made Multi, Zinc, Folic Acid, and B Complex. Should I add anything else? BTW I have a magnesium supp but I haven't been taking it because I can't figure out if it sways blue or pink? Anyone know if I should take it or not?

Don't worry too much if DH doesn't cooperate - my DH didn't even know I was swaying, didn't take a single supplement, and we still got our boy. Can you get a straight fish oil supp for yourself? What you need his high Omega 3s, not 6s. And I was taking magnesium supps every day (actually so was DH) when we conceived DS.

Perfect! I will add the mag back into my supps! And yes I am planning on ditching the blend and just getting a straight fish oil. Also do you think I should add a potassium gluconate supp? Or no? So DH should be good on magnesium, multi, zinc, and folic and that should be good?

My understanding is that the potassium supps aren't really absorbed very well. Can you get coconut water down? Lots of people don't really like it but I LOVE the stuff...

Atomic posted an article on how to get all the potassium you need, I'll see if I can find the link.

yea i have to be a dream member :/ i am trying to talk DH into letting me be one. he already gave me a big fat no on the personalized plan. but i think i came up with one on my own ... yes i like coconut water when it is mixed into things so getting it down isn't an issue. i like to add it to things like my smoothies or tea.

My DP didn't take supps so try not to worry too much if your DH doesn't.

Thanks! He says he already feels like he is taking a bunch of supps so I don't know if I could even get him to try honestly.

That's a relief! He is being really cooperative except for the supps and he wont stop wearing his jockeys. He also wears compression shorts when he runs and coaches DD's soccer. I told him as soon as soccer is over the compression shorts need to go. I can't really yell at him for wearing them now ... neither one of us want his junk jumping all over the place while he is coaching a bunch of 5 year olds! So hopefully underwear isn't too big of an issue :worry:

My DP is a jockey wearer too, and he works in the hot sun all day! not to mention smoking and drinking daily... its like he tried to sabotage our sway haha, anyway i think it is more about the DW in the end and the men are just there to donate the dna lol.

Doesn't smoking and compression shorts sway pink? I cant get dh to stop using dip (smokelss tobacco) and wearing his compression shorts and I am ttc blue. If my husband can stop both, does anyone know the time frame at which sperm wouldnt be affected by compression shorts or using tobacco? Do I have any hope of ttc if he can't stop?

no worries, give him some vegan DHA supps instead.

No flaxseed or borage for him, and I think you should drop the borage for yoruself, and take the flax from AF-O only

My DH has never taken vitamns and we still got 4 boys

Yes they do but none of these things are magic bullets at all. You absolutely still have a chance at a boy even without his help. :)

Sperm take 72 days to form so the longer part of that time period, the better.

I'd say dip is less detrimental than smoking, but yeah i was saying my DP's habits were very pink, but we still got a boy after i made ALL the changes to sway.

I guess on one hand I am hesitant and on the other hand I Just want to be pregnant again. He was using dip when we concieved boths dds, but not wearing compression shorts. My diet was girl friendly with lots of diet soda and asparatime. I have since changed my diet but he just cant quit. He knows the plan to ttc a boy and he said he would stop using shorts, and he would try to quit dip again but I have lost count how many times he has tried to quit using nicotine patches or cold turkey so I dont believe he will until he does. This will be our third and final child and I want the best sway chance I get, but I dont know how many more months I can wait until he has stopped both. We are on month 5 of ttc so I am starting to get impatient. I just wish it wouldn't be this complicated..lol.

Check out the pink swayers, some of them get opposites doing everything in their power to sway pink. All you can do is what you can do, and then let go of the rest.
