Very cute! I could picture dating a guy named "Teddy" too. Cute, sandy brown hair, and very cute.

Well it won't suit a girl; which i'm still crossing my fingers that thats what your getting!!!!!

On the other hand, Teddy is a lovely name - i've known it to be short for Theodore and Edward and also as a name in its own right. There are few girls on the other due date forum with Teddy's and i think its so cute everytime i see it. I do still like Elliot though too.

The name we chose for my ds3 i didn't really like just went along with as everyone else thought it was cute and i couldn't come up with anything better but it honestly grew on me really quickly and it suits him and i couldn't imagine him being anything else now

I personally dont like it but I have a totally different naming style goes well with your other boys names if this one is a boy which I hoping it's a girl for you

I like it. My girls have quite old fashioned conservative names so it's a name I'd consider for a boy. I prefer Edward to Theodore though (though I really like Theo but DH doesn't).

It's cute but I would be concerned that when he was older he might not like it. It doesn't sound adult or professional.

Maybe Edward but you call him Teddy. Then he can choose which he prefers as he gets older.

I think it could be cute for a toddler but beyond that I don't personally care for it. I do wonder if it will gain popularity (along with Elliot) after the big success of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. What about Rory (possibly short for Riordon)? I think that is adorable!

Thanks Ladies - opinions most apprecited as always. Mrs P I still love Elliot too but everyone we mention it too says its too close to Ellis :-( I like James Elliott but dont like James for a baby so would need a nickname,,,,,
