I have been so good for the past four weeks with the LE diet but this weekend was a big cheat. I did not eat any meat but I went way over my calorie count. Last night I ate at Rainforest Cafe and had cheese ravioli, a beer and some bites of dessert. It gave me the worst tummy ache! This morning we went to a character breakfast at disneyland and I ate two butter croissants, fruit and some banana bread pudding and again got a horrible tummy ache. My stomach must have really shrunk!

Anyone else have a cheat weekend? If not, how do you stop yourself from cheating?!

Not a cheat weekend but I do have cheats. It's awful but I recently had a huge donner kebab smothered in mayo LOL!! It gave me a really bad upset tummy because it was so rich so I tell myself I probably didn't have time to absorb that many nutrients from it anyway lmao! My hubby is terrible for eating the most fatty delicious smelling food in front of me making the diet a million times harder.

I haven't found a foolproof way to stop me from cheating. I find I am really good but then when I cheat I cheat BIG! xxx

Ugh... Just ugh. The in-laws have been over from business in South Africa and a lot of the cuisine they 'can't get over there'. So have been out too many times (well, more than I would have liked ideally). The FiL has gone back now, but MiL will be over for a month so have/will have eaten here there and everywhere. Of course the whole 'why aren't you eating meat anymore?' question is so much fun!

For right now I'm doing my best by not having any meat dishes, anything pickled (onions, relishes, olives), laods of water to dilute the salt. Oh and trying not to snack in between meals. Sooo thankful alcohol is still on the menu! I would say the top tip for the unavoidable pizza - get your veggie pizza on a thin base and NO cheese. Then you can get the parmesan grated on top or if at home add a little swiss cheese and heat - really not bad! Serve with salad. Is anyone finding since cutting back on sodium that the usual restaurant/takeout foods are really quite salty?

If I conceive this cycle, I'm pretty convinced it'll be a boy tbh. But will be our first wee one, so will be happy for either right now. Thinking sticking with the green team for this one! Fx girls! x

Don't worry about it... I had 4 Christmas dinners about 5 days before my daughter was conceived. I also had LOADS of cream cake! She was conceived 2 days before the new year so nearly everything I was eating was rubbish. I did *try* to sway, but now I think about it, I probably was leaning towards a boy sway with Doritos and chocolate for breakfast! I had a donner meat pizza and chips the day of ovulation too because I got bored of eating yoghurt!

All you can do is try your hardest and hope for the best. :)

Cheating is not only allowed, it is encouraged. When you cheat now and then, it is easier to stick to the diet the rest of the time. It is not only one meal that counts, it is your overall diet as a whole.

I thought brekkie swayed boy! I only had chocolate for breakfast when I conceived my boy, but thinking about it I did eat full packets of biscuits, but maybe empty calories, who knows?

Yeah but it's no magic bullet whatsoever. There are girl moms who eat breakfast, boy moms who don't, and everything in between. It's just a tactic that may help a bit. No guarantees either way!

Some people call the first meal of the day breakfast even if they eat it at 1 pm.

Yeah, I think that's the worst thing that you can never guarantee the outcome. I think swaying turns me into a control freak, I even worry about the timing of the meal! The lengths we go to! Hehe!
