View Full Version : Acigel!

I've just hopped over from another gender swaying board where A LOT of ladies are experimenting with using acigel for ttc a girl.
Out of all of us, few actually conceived and the majority of those that did seem to have gone on to have chemical pregnancies/early miscarriages.
I've made it to 6 weeks but today have experienced quite bad cramping which feels very reminiscent of my last miscarriage.
Just wondering if there are any ladies on here who used acigel and went on to have healthy pregnancies and babies? Right now I don't give two hoots about the gender, I just want a healthy baby!
Can't find anyone over on other board so thought I 'd come over here and hope so one can give me some hope!

I am so sorry, I hope you are doing ok and baby is still on board.
I found, when I was on in gender a few years ago, that the conception rates with acijel were pretty lousy. I am not sure if I believe that acijel causes miscarriage, I am more inclined to think some of the other sway tactics that are used on some of the other sites, such as Lydia pinkham and very restrictive diets and cranberry, MAY cause miscarriage and then it appears that the acijel is doing it when it is coincidence. Please don't blame yourself, it was not your fault, most losses are just bad luck and can not be prevented.

Mabel I hope that everything is OK with you and your baby. I used aci-jel as part of my sway and was a one hit wonder with a + pg test the 1st month we tried, and we only did 1 attempt. I used aci-jel shortly before we DTD too.
I am not having any major problems with cramping or anything like that. I am going for a scan on the 24th, and a private gender scan the same day. I don't get the feeling that anything is wrong with me or my baby. I'm not so sure that aci-jel would have like...potentially damaging effects on a baby or I'd think they'd have to put a warning on it about using it if you're able to have children, KWIM? Aci-jel has been around for quite some time now and I think if the Aussies or anywhere else in the world that sells it found a correlation between aci-jel and birth defects or miscarriage that they'd do the studies and do something about it if there was a correlation.
Hope you are feeling better and your little bean is OK!

Just an update- despite the cramping and a couple of bleeds, baby is still on board at 20 weeks. The huge amounts of Acigel I used did nothing to help with gender though. Just found out my third baby boy is on his way.
