BOY OR GIRL?? PLEASE HELP!!

I went for an early ultrasound at a 3d place at 15 weeks. The tech orginally said she thought it was a girl but said she couldn't get a good picture to print out so i could see myself. She told me to drink more water and come back in a half an hour. I came back after a half an hour and she looked again and then said it's a boy! She printed out the pictures and when i questioned her she said "ask anyone" so now i am left wondering if it's a boy or a girl.... ?

it looks like a boy but i'm always wary of these early scans as girls can have swollen bits which throw the image off - bumping for someone with more knowledge than me!

What did you see first time round - did babe give you a clear shot?

i couldn't see anything the first time.. the tech said it was a girl and she kept saying "she would be happy if she was wrong".. then i went to drink more water came back and it was clear as day to her that it was a boy. She said he had been crossing his legs so it was hard to tell at first but that now it was could see it was a boy. She even said "go home and relax..it's a boy" which annoyed me because 30 minutes before she said it was a girl.. i hate to get my hopes up to be disappointed..

Looks like a boy! Both my sons looked like that at almost 16 weeks!

It does look very boyish to me. The bits look out in front enough to make me think boy more than swollen girl bits. I got a similar boy shot at 16w with my first boy. But I wouldn't go 100% on that shot - when will you have another scan?

i won't get another scan till a month from now which is why i paid for the private scan.. and it will drive me crazy until then i guess.. thanks for the help everyone :)

I am not sold on this image. I can't make out clear penis and scrotum--just something protruding in the middle. At 15 weeks some girls are still very swollen and inexperienced (elective) techs can mistake the clitoris for a penis. I'd call the place and tell them that you are not convinced and that you "asked anyone" and many were undecided. Good luck!

They can be at times. Did the tech happen to give you any side shots that may have a nub visible?

i have a couple profile shots but the nub is cut off.... I don't know how i will make it to my next ultrasound.. i really want to know!!
