Hi! I am trying to sway for a girl. I have been on calcium for about 8 weeks now...just realized that I am supposed to be taking calcium CITRATE not carbonate. The supps that I was taking contained carbonate. We are going to start trying the middle of next month. If I switch now is it too late? I DEF don't want to do anything to sway boy! ;) Thanks for any advice!

i would switch now ( better late than never ) but to be honest you get more calcium from foods than supps .
might ease your mind but i have 2dd's and never ate calcium ! but have started my blue sway and have started eating loads of full fat dairy (calcium )!
Just remember it's never just ONE thing !

I'm sorry that I can't post the link from my phone but please read Atomic's essay on calcium & supplements for ttc a girl. It's not recommended on the Le-style girl sway. I used to take cal/mag supplements until I found this forum and the absolute wealth of knowledge re swaying. Good luck!!

Thanks guys! I have read the information about not taking calcium but I did with my first sway (which was a girl) however, now that I remember it was calcium citrate. I should have just bought the same stuff but at the time didn't even realize there was a difference. I never drink milk either. Thanks!

I really, really, really, really, really, really doubt that this makes one bit of difference but if it makes you feel better, citrate it is. If you want to do it "right" you should give it another 6 weeks at least on the cal citrate.
