Hi ladies,
Anyone know if it's safe to take Vit. C during the 2ww? Trying to lower pH w/o taking aspirin, since I'm bf my 12-month-old. I *may* have o'd yesterday, and don't want to do anything to hurt a potential baby in there. :)

yes i was drinking lots of Lemon Juices en vingear-water ( trying too lose weight at that time) But it makes for me more EWCM and becomes alkaline from it.

I'm so sorry, I thought I answered this but must have closed it wihtout hitting reply.
Take the 500 mg Vit. C throughout cycle and then exchange for equal amount in prenatal at BFP - don't quit vit. C suddenly OR double dose and take more than 500. Just change one for the other.
Yes, Vit. C can make more EWCM for people but it is believed to lower pH and it's the ONLY pH-lowering supp known to be safe when BF. Anyone who wants to use it, just have an antihistamine on hand to be used as a rescue method if you have a lot of EWCM

Lemon water and vinegar are said to sway blue so I would avoid those things. That having been said we do not know if it is from the Vit. C or if it's because they are hydrating.
Vinegar is actually good for lowering blood sugar as well and we are just not sure if it's really even a good sway tactic for blue - it may actually be good for pink, we just don't have enough data to say.
