Tomorrow , 1st of June, I'll be starting my LE diet. I'm sort of excited as I've been stuffing my face and am quite sick of food at this point!! I will be checking out and asking for tips for simple quick no prep required lunches :)
Tonight I stuffed my face with greasy fish and chips, this past week I've had pizza and pasta. So none of that from tomorrow on. Fingers cross I will have the will power!

Good luck, I've been putting it off for ages now so yesterday was my first day. The limits are tough to stay within. I'm trying to eat what i enjoy to make it do able. Toastie and pasta yesterday. I got the 21 day plan to help me out. I'm Sure after a week or so it'll all feel second nature. I'm scared but had to man up and take control. Hoping to get my bfp after a couple of months because I'll only be on the diet 4.5 weeks at first attempt. However i dread month after month of bfn's ... Far from perfect start for me. Negative nelly or what lol?!! Xx

Hi Goodus,
How is it going so far? I also started the LE diet on June 1st, hoping to start trying at the end of August. I am slowly easing into it, but was pleased to find I am already down a pound or two, I have quite a bit to lose. Would love to keep in touch with others with similar timing...but I can't follow the link posted to the other group?

Yesterday was my first day . Found it easy enough though I didn't quite eat enough . Was a bit too worried about going over the sodium levels and it will take a while to get the hang of what I can actually eat. Going to try and get a proper lunch in today and plan dinner a bit better . My fitness pal is handy for info but I'm finding it a pain to figure out :-(
Hope everyone else is getting on ok ? And enjoying the gorgeous weather if you're in UK/Ireland too :-)

My diet is not going too well. I was eating zucs and mushroom stir fry and had the worst tummy bloating ever!! I am at the stage where I just wish I have more will power to stop eating even when I'm hungry :P because I think I WILL have to starve for at least 1 week before my body and stomach get use to the small amount of food. I know Atomic, you said there is no need to starve but I just don't know how not to if I want to stick to the LE diet. I just don't fill full without some meat!

Then allot yourself a couple bites of meat with meals and take it into account in your day's protein allotment. It may not take much to help you feel more satisfied.
Example 1 oz. chicken = 8/9 g protein Huge difference between that and the typical 3-4 oz serving size ranging between 25-35 g protein
