Little worried having slightly painful BH contractions today and they keep getting worse. With my first I ended up having them strong enough I had to go in and have them stopped and then bed rest for two weeks. I was 36 weeks. (And then I ended up with a 40 hour labor with a resulting c section around my due date) I'm 19 weeks I go in Tues so I will mention it then. Anyone else have them like this at 19 weeks?

I'm more worried than normal because of my guilt of having Gender disappointment. I very much want this little guy to be ok. I think I'm rambling but I'm just wondering is this normal or should I worry?

I would be a little worried if you have a history of early labor. Def. mention it to your doc and in the meantime, I would watch them very closely, drink plenty of fluids, and rest.

I had Braxton Hicks alot with DS2 and he made it to 37 weeks so I am sure all will be OK!!

I got BH pretty early with #2 and #3. I swear I could feel them in my first trimester, however they were never painful...

Thanks for the replies. I drank a lot of water and ate a bannana. They are gone today. I think part of my problem is that I'm so up and down with my emotions over this being another boy that I'm paranoid and paying too much attention to things. I DO need to bring it up with the Dr though and get details on what point I need to worry. This is a new Dr. they don't know I went into early labor last time. I forgot to tell them I always feel so rushed by them :/ last pg they said if its in a pattern or so bad you can't stand up.
