HI EVERYONE! :)

I am 'new' to the site and would loe to make some 'new' friends! But first a bit about me!

I have just turned 30!!! arrr! lol and just got married to my partner of 7 years!

We have 3 beautiful, healthy boys aged, 5,3 and nearly 2.

My partner doesn't want anymore children and had a vasectomy in 2011.

I am heart broken as I feel that I am not 'complete' without a daughter.

I have had gender disappointment all 3 times and would do anything to oneday have a daughter.

I know that through ivf we would be able to conceive again, its just my partner is not keen.

Id love to meet/talk to women in my situation and if you have done 'gender selection'.

I am on facebook and would be happy to chat on there! or email me on aw21@bigpond.com

Look forward to chatting, Alana xx

I think most people will want to remain private. You can find them in the Private/Dream Members HT forum. We have a very large Aussie population on here.

Dr Potter in California works with many of them and if you are a member on here, the $300 consult is then free. Also gives you $1000 off your cycle.

If you become a dream member, you'll see all the current and past cyclers and there is a post about cycling from Australia.

Welcome. Best of luck researching & convincing your DH.

With your age you have a good chance of it working with one cycle :-)

I highly recommend Dr Potter at HRC in California. For my successful cycle my DH & I went over without our boys. It was an amazing second honeymoon. So relaxing. I think that's why it worked.

HT is high tec. It means using IVF/PGD for gender selection.

Here is the HT for Newbies Guide-

Hi Alana, I am a Aussie Mum too & very new to GD , my husband had a vasectomy after our 4th daughter & then 9years later I talked him into getting it reversed & then we had daughter Number 5, & so we called her Chanel #5...lol I needed a real special name for her after spending 10k to have it reversed on the Gold Coast.I did do a sway with her but after reading all the information on here about swaying so much of what I was doing was wrong.I would love to talk to you on Facebook, I don't know my way around here yet but I am good at facebook ...lol

Hi there,
I'm also new to GD, I am also turning 30 and I have three boys - look around your boys ages... 4, 3 and turning 1 in July. Nice to meet someone in the same boat!

Where in Australia are you? I'm in Melbourne. Really hard to get anyone to 'hear' me when they have a mix of children or girls... so its good to talk the same talk LOL
