It's tough isn't it. I didn't know about nubs with either of my boys and on ds1 there isn't one viewable on the scan but ds2 there is. His scan was at 12 Wks 5 days and I'd probably have guessed boy just... But it wasn't angled up all that much so that kinda makes me wonder if this is a boy. Though the two main differences are with ds2 his was like two parallel lines and there wasn't a visible fork.
Does anyone know how much the nubs raise at this stage?
Do we have any techs/experts!?

I actually looked before now and was really stuck because it's got a perfect girl angle, but a sort of bulbous tip so I was kind of on the fence.... But, I'm going GIRL on account of the angle! I really really hope this is your girl Tree :)

Not sure which is the accurate shot of the nub, both look a bit like the spine is curved. I really want to say girl for you, but that pic is stopping me. I don't know!!! I posted in the other thread, but I will say again, I think that's a girl for sure! The line of the nub is parallel to the line of the spine. It's much more reliable after 13 weeks, so that's great news!!

Actually its the angle for nub theory, nothing to do with three lines or a nob until 18 weeks ish.

Under 30 degrees (straighter or parallel to spine) is girl, more pointing up/angled over 30 degrees is boy.

Updated the third pic as I was looking at the actual scan pic yesterday and realised that the photo I originally put up made the end of the nub look short, round and bulbous when in fact it is longer and more forked. If you zoom in on the pic you can see. It probably doesn't make a huge difference to people's thoughts but wanted to have a truer reflection of the nub. It's quite a distinctive fork so if this is a boy it will be a good example of how boys can have forks too.
