I got my "surprise " bfp yesterday i say surprise because we were not going to try until july ! i wanted to have a really good go at my sway ..but nature had other plans
my dd was conceived in end of may as is this baby , so my question is does anybody know of different gender siblings sharing the same birth month ?
i can't find any and it's making me nervous
my friend has 3 boys conceived in august
my sil has 2 boys both conceived in june
my mum and her sister both born in march

Anybody ? please ???

yep me - my second little guy had his birthday this week and my little lady is due in 2 weeks time.

I also have two friends with a boy and a girl - one friend they are two weeks apart both born in may and the other a week apart born in July - not that common as i think most people avoid it due to the clashing birthdays thing

I have two cousins (boy & girl siblings) born in March and another set of 3 cousins (2 boys & 1 girl siblings) all born on the same month & day in different years!!!

My DSD & 1 DS share a birth month too, but that doesn't really count when DH is the only common denominator!

^^^^ This!! I think the only reason why it seems like there aren't any is just because the lion's share of people tend to avoid having kids in the same month.

DS1 was born in October and that is when this little one(girl) is due. Also my mother and I were born in Oct. as well as my dad and DH.
Also some good friends and their 2 kids all born in August (dh, dw, dd1, and ds1).

My cousin and her twin brothers all share Jan 31st as a birthday. They were all three three weeks "early."

I could probably give about five more examples from friends and family. I think it's exactly as someone said...people avoid same-month birthdays for their sanity. So it's rarer to find siblings sharing a birth month, much less opposite gender ones.
