Why do we have to stay strict on the diet during the 2WW? Shouldn't we be able to take a little break starting a day or two after ovulation?

My only guess would be to not mess up the diet in case you aren't pregnant and you have to start a new cycle. It took us 3 cycles to get pregnant this time and I cheated, but I'm also pregnant with my second little man so take that for what it's worth LOL!

I just read that it is particularly important to maintain blood sugar low between ovulation and implantation because it helps female beans to implant, so I would def. continue not having breakfast and not snacking a lot in the first week or up to 10 days after ovulation and eat slightly more nutrients and cal only at meals if you feel you need it.

I would stay with the diet until BFP.

Would you say that the only time we can cheat a bit is during AF?

Thanks Indira. That makes sense.

Cheating during AF is your safest move - aside from NOT cheating LOL. The French Gender Diet people say no cheating allowed for getting minerals right, so if minerals are very important to you, then it's best not to cheat.
