Hi , I am still breast feeding and on my third cycle ttc and third cycle sinc bf. I've noticed my lp is a bit shorter these last monthes. They've been 12 days when I'm pretty sure they were 14 before. My question is will this effect getting preggo or is it still long enough? I've been nursing less, just at night and maybe once early evening but don't want to fully wean dd as I did this with my last sway and still got dd3 so don't want to feel guilty about weaning too early, she is one but still.....you know. She is a booby fiend lol. Anyways what do you think any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi! I was breastfeeding my dd when I concieved this baby ( a boy) and my lp was only like 10 or 11 days. I dont think 12 days will be a problem at all:) good luck!

12 days is just dandy!!!

I got my 4th boy while breastfeeding not one but TWO kids - I would NEVER tell anyone to wean for swaying, it's not that reliable a sway tactic and I really think that is such a magical time, swaying is no guarantee anyway so you could wean before you were ready and still get another girl!!

I was breastfeeding DS1 when I conceived DS2, my luteal phase was only 7 days the cycle before I conceived him. I don't know what it would have been the month he was conceived, I started taking vitex and 100mg vitamin B6 that month to try and lengthen it.

How right you are atomic! I weaned dd2 at a year and would have prob kept going but was told to not sway for a boy while bf by a-gender. Guess what, I ended up with my gorgeous dd3 miss Ava :) I don't recommend it either!

^^that was a mistake from not enough coffee, I was just nursing one kid but he did the nursing of two LOL!!!! Still, same sentiment holds true, it's silly to wean because there are no guarantees even if you do!!!!
