Is it possible to move ovulation later? I ovulate well before the full moon, and would like to ovulate during the full moon. I've read on here that EPO delays ovulation. But does it lengthen one's cycle? Are there any simple ways to lengthen the cycle temporarily so as to O when you want to, and then go back to a normal length cycle positioned where you want in the month?

How many days are you trying to lengthen it? EPO delayed O for me for about 2 days but some women are very regular on it. I wouldn't worry about the full moon I conceived a boy and it wasn't even close to a full moon

I'm about 10 days before the full moon. I'm not super worried about if for the sway. It's more that it would be easier on my marriage to be ovulating (with the positive hormones that go with that) around the full moon because dh responds to the moon cycles. Usually I'm PMSing during the full moon.:fight: I think we'd have better BD if my O and the full moon were aligned. :hug2:

As long as the moon is getting fatter or is still pretty fat, IF the moon sways, that will be swaying blue. THe "ions" and the moon is just silliness but moonlight itself may help a sway, and the moon is still giving off quite a lot of light even when it's not totally full.

I wasn't getting pregnant due to a really short LP and had an appointment with a fertility specialist the month I ended up falling pregnant - due to lunaception. I didn't want to try any supps because I wanted my hormones to be as normal as possible for the fertility appt. but decided I'd try lunaception just for fun as there was no way it was going to work. I normally ovulated CD22 (of a 28 max day cycle) so we slept in complete darkness - taped our windows with garbage bags and everything. Then on CD13 we turned on a relatively bright nighlight and slept with it on until CD17 - When I actually ended up Ovulating!! Then went straight back to darkness until my BFP or AF. I was completely shocked it worked and noticed EWCM start happening the morning after we first turned on the light. I moved ovulation 5 days sooner, after 6+ months of trying several things and never ovulating earlier than CD21 so I'd say it's worth a try. Keep your room pitch black until a day or two before you want to ovulate, then turn on a nightlight. Good luck!

mrs. Blakely if you ever have a moment to spare, if you could post those experiences in the Lunaception essay, (even if you just c and P the above post) that would be very helpful to others who may be in the same boat. TIA!!!!

Sure, I've been meaning to write a post about it but wanted to make sure it was a sticky bean before doing so and the last few weeks I completely forgot! Will do!
