View Full Version : 12w5d - Gentle Guesses Please!

I was 12w5d when these pics were taken. It's taken me 4 weeks to pluck up enough courage to post my pics, so please be truthful but gentle with your guesses! I got my date for my anomaly scan today (18th July) so felt that 3 weeks was plenty of time to nubsess before I find out. Baby was measuring according to my LMP at 12w5d although I swore that I ovulated later, but perhaps not! :think:

I think the leg is blocking seeing the nub. 50/50. FX for pink.

I am not sure if I am looking at cord, leg or nub. If it is nub it looks girly. Obviously if it is cord or leg then ignore my guess. I sooo want this to be pink I might be seeing things that aren't there.

How cute is that nose by the way?!

Aw, I hope it's your girl in there. I can't make out anything really definitive. But I do get more of a girly vibe from the pic :)

Thank you so much ladies. After a few pink guesses (not on this thread) it's so frustrating now to hear that there isn't a clear nub. At least I'm not being told boy nub but it feels like my chances have decreased for a girl now! I appreciate you all taking a look though. I thought I could see part of the nub but I guess that isn't enough for a definite guess :( One's such a clear pic irl it doesn't do it justice on here, there's a very fine straight line sticking out in the nub area. Ooh, this'll have me wondering even more now! Lol!

I zoomed right in on the first pic and think I can make out the nub as it has the same shape as mine. It's not the clearest but I'm guessing girl for you. X

I'm not 100% but I am leaning a lot more pink to blue.

I hope you hear pink and I'm glad that you have a healthy baby in there :) x x

Thank you ladies. Just been wondering if anyone can help explain what I saw during my scan? When baby was upside down I noticed a big lump between the legs. It was large (midway down to the knees) and rounded. It seemed too big to be anything gender-related and I assumed that it was the cord. Is this likely or am I giving myself false hope? It was noticeable. This was during the same scan as the pics on the first page. Thank you :)

Without starting any big willy jokes I really don't think that could have been anything other than the cord. Was it very white?

In Spain if they had seen a penis that long on the scan they would have started patting DH on the back etc etc and definitely would have said something.

Fingers crossed you have a shy girly in there.

Yup, it was white and stood out quite a lot. Hope you're right! Thank you Emily, I hoped that was what it was :)
